howdy all

hey there. so i am new to the forum but not new to growing. here is the short story of myself.

my wife and i both hail from the northeast but we have been living at 9,000 ft in the rockies of colorado for 8 years now. my wife and i are 31 and 32 respectively. we are coming back east towards the end of next summer to get back home to friends and family and salt water. after growing up on the ocean for 24 years and then being land locked at 9,000 ft. above sea level on the side of a mountain for 8 years, it will do funny things to you. anyhow, i have been caregiving on the books here in colorado for 4 years now, growing for 11 or so years total. here is a link to my company website, http://www.303organics.com/, which needs to be updated as we just brought in 9 new strains that haven’t yet been added to the menu. so you can go there and see what i do if you’d like. i just wanted to establish this thread to introduce myself and say hey. i am on a diplomatic mission to build connections and relationships before we get to maine and i hope you all will welcome my family and i, i have a 20 month old son, to the fold. i think that’s about it. thanks and be well all.

Hey there Joseph!

I'm fairly new to this forum, growing & Maine, but want to welcome you back to Maine! I came out here 3 yrs ago for a visit & ended up moving here 6 weeks later. I'm a patient that is trying to grow for the first time. I have always killed Chia Pets & couldn't grow anything in my life until the summer when my landlord helped me do a vegetable garden. So now I'm doing my first grow like I said, and it's doing pretty good. I've impressed myself with this one. The link to my grow journal is in my signature, check it out & let me know what you think.
Your web page is impressive! I haven't seen anything like that here in Maine, but great idea! Where are you moving to in Maine? I'm in the Topsham area. Anyways, welcome back to you, your wife & your son! Looking forward to hearing from you in the forums.

Peace!

:peace:

thanks for the warm welcome. glad you liked the site. i built it myself. my 1 and only. i am by no means 'technically' handy. the short list of places we'd like to move to is windham, gorham, topsham, gray, standish....that area in general. mainly for the schools for our boy. again, thanks for the welcome. i look forward to talking with you all more and building connections and relationships and hopefully working with you all in some capacity in the near future. be well.

Hey Danky and warm welcome to Maine :-) Time restraints have me pinned down at the moment, but I know that once I have more of a chance, I want to gander at your website.
It is always comforting to know that someone with your knowledge base is joining us, as I know and need some "Major" help with my efforts :-) I am very familiar with those towns that you are looking at, and you could not pick a better area to be looking at, especially when it comes to the "Maine Quality of Life". Of course, anywhere up here is a good choice :-)
Again, welcome Danky and I for one am very much looking forward to some great info in the near future. Best of luck my friend :-)

hey man, welcome to the state and to the forum. just a firendly heads up (as my second home is vail and i know a little bit about coly ;) are laws are way way different, some of your offerings, (which by the way real nice setup) require more certs (edibles) and oils are in a questionable state, and for the big kick in the nuts we can NOT sell to dispensories or other caregivers.. :/

welcome back to the state, you'll miss the snow ;)

many thanks for the welcomes. it really is appreciated.

i have been studying the law in maine for some time now and it is fairly righteous. the laws there are way different than here but in all the right ways. the law in colorado is progressively getting worse as our holier than thou legislators are on a crusade to protect us from ourselves and save the children. they constantly come up with solutions to problems that don't exist just to get their name in the paper. aye, it gets the blood hot when i think about it. anyways, again, thanks for the welcomes.
