Being the age my wife & myself are we've allready bought our Marker plates for the family Columbarium my parents bought within the Mausoleum for the family urns , were paid up for everything so our sons dont have to deal with anything when we lay down.

My eldest son is with my parents & his marker says Levi Garrett jr , Son of Leyla & Levi Garrett sr, Brother & friend gave his life in the defense of others & is sadly missed , a USMC badge & American flag adorns the top of his marker .

Mine says Levi Garret sr , Devoted father of sons Levi jr , Joseph , Caleb , Ever loving Husband of Leyla Garrett , son of Marshall & Patricia Garrett , my plate is adorned with an American flag matching my son's flag .

My wifes says Leyla Garrett / Ataya , Loving Mother of son's Levi jr , Joseph , Caleb , Devoted wife of Levi Garrett sr , daughter of Hateem & Assi Ataya & a friend to all who knew her , her plate is adorned with the Lebanese flag & American flag .

These are our real names & real markers so please no silly comments being my eldest son is allready there .
That's class. Nothing but class. It is said that a man knows a certain peace when he has readied his tomb. I look forward to finding out someday.

you're all right with me @panhead!

do you also have a panhead?

Yeah I ride a pan & have been riding it for yrs , my father bought it New & I got it from him when he got his 1st Shovelhead , I've rode the old pan so long it's became my nickname in real life .

I also kept my pops shovel when he passed , my wife has a Fat boy & a Buell Blast , I've also got an old Iron Head Sporty , a Road King & a Buell Lightning , my dad's Superglide I turned into a stroker but I left the panhead all stock , it's about 90% stock still .

My son & me are rebuilding a Knucklehead as a project right now & hope to have it on the road sometime next year , Harleys & high end hifi are my hobbies .

I've met David Allen Coe at an Easy Rider rodeo back in the early 80's & had a beer with him , me & my brother entered the races & David wanted to meet all the riders so that's how we met him , next to Ice T he was one of the coolest people I've met .

I don't know what mine will say, but I hope my tombstone gets on my gravesite faster than my moms. She died new years eve, and still doesn't have one. Is that normal? I mean wtf, I don't even care what it will say. My oldest sister is in charge of this, and is hella lagging. Or Am I just trippin?

I'm hoping to be buried in the backyard, so i won't need a tombstone because no will even see where I'm buried and hell, after they put me down they might as well forget about me anyhow, cant live in the past...

Preserving a dead body, putting makeup on it and a new outfit is seriously the most fucked up morbid thing that is acceptable within society. Seriously, lets take dead people and dress them up? Whats the box for then? After all that work, why dont you hang them on the wall for all to see. Why lock them up after they so pretty?

I agree, burn me too, don't care whats written, I'll be dead. People who I meant anything to will remember without spending money on a rotting corpse and some engravings. Everyone else, wont care.

I dont go to viewings, and if its open casket I sit in the back. That's not the person I remember. That's some fucked up modified plastic looking shell of the person I used to know.
