How to vent a grow room?

Die by hooking up a duct work ? That was already used in the basement previous? I dont understand how im going to die with the ductwork , it is literally the same ductwork that goes to the whole kitchen.been installed like that forever , and all i did was hookup a pipe from that to my box .

And therefore your changed the air pressure characteristics of that ductwork. You have a fan blowing out of your tent, right? If so, go get a good carbon monoxide detector, sir. Use it, all over the house. CO can accumulate in a closet and flood into a bedroom because a door elsewhere in the house opens or closes. It can be anywhere. Not a joke. If you have children, other humans or pets in the home then do it right fucking now. You don’t understand how you are going to die, which is exactly the problem. You can also cause brain damage in your family due to chronic hypoxia. Does that sound worth it?
Just because nothing happened yet doesn’t mean it isn’t going to. I have a neighbor who almost lost her son last winter to Carbon Monoxide poisoning from shoddy hvac work by a scumbag contractor. Even an incompetent professional can kill you, do not fuck around.
Temperature and barometric pressure can affect airflow in your home, in the summer you run AC and Natural Gas in the winter, this can change the flow also, please take this seriously.
I have another acquaintance who almost lost a child the same way, years ago. Both kids were hospitalized, both homes had been incorrectly modified. Both homes had been lived in for years wih no ill effects. You are misleading yourself, don’t be prideful about this.
You would be better off venting directly into the attic crawlspace, in terms of safety. Never never never modify your home’s hvac, unless you are a qualified professional.

There someone actually expained it , i do have carbon monoxide detectors and they never go off . I also have a inline fan right at my ductwork were i hooked it up pushing air to the box

Ill see if i can find one around me , and im not being prideful all im doing is stating my facts that i tested by having carbon monixide testers and it is working for me in my setup . My next one i will look into different options but i dont have many

Well guys, thanks for all the input. I'm all finished with the grow room. I used a 6 inch pipe for both in, and out. My inline fan seems to be more then powerful enough to move the air. The room is about 75 degrees and plants seem to be happy. It did get pretty cold this week and the temps were down to 56 degrees the past few nights. Plants didn't seem to mind. they look perky.

If you get a variac control you could turn your fan down and have a little more control when temps get down there. When I first saw the thread I thought to myself "why wouldn't he just buy a tent" but you did the damn thing. I'm gonna be building a fake wall for my room when I find the time so I know u have some real talent.
