How to vent a 600w LED light

Hey all,

First time running this setup and need some insight on how to control/vent excess heat from a LED light fixture.
My grow tent is 4x2x5 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H9OJHYA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 & my light is a 600w LED http://www.ebay.com/itm/600W-LED-Grow-Light-Hydroponic-Veg-Growth-Flower-Spectrum-3W-LED-Panel-Lamp-/261634693622?pt=US_Hydroponics&hash=item3ceaa499f6

Ever since I started to flower and added my carbon filter to my vortex, there has been a dramatic decrease of airflow and it seems as though the hot air can barely get sucked through the carbon filter. Its a brand new ventech 4 inch filter hooked up to a 6 inch ventech vortex fan with a reducer in-between...Based on the cfm ratings, the 6 inch fan should easily be able to pull enough air through, but I can barely feel suction when I put my hand to the filter.

If anyone could provide help/insight, it'd be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Easy fix...
Right now your filter is not letting enough air through. You should never run a filter over it's rated CFM
-One for airflow purposes...the filter only lets through it's rated CFM...so if your fan is trying to pull more than that out...it will possibly wreck your fan, and also won't allow the airflow you're requiring.
-Second is for smell... The slower the air moves over/across the carbon...the more it pulls odors out...because of more contact time. Running it how you are currently will make it poor at odor control in addition to the lack of flow.

Long story short you should have you setup the opposite...bigger filter and smaller fan...or ideally just match them, 6" to 6" or what ever...if they offer 2 sizes int the 6" filter(like 18" or 24" long), then get the bigger one. Always pull less air throughout the filter than the max and you won't have problems.
