How to kill thrips in flowering.

So I have a pretty bad thrip infestation which I have been unable to stop because my plants are well into flowering and I have been unable to use the usual bug bombs or sprays in fear of ruining buds. Any idea on how to get rid of thrips while in flowering?

If you are 4 weeks out or more try azatrol. Guy at shop said 3 weeks but websites say 4 weeks. Spinasad will work in the short term and is safe up to 3 days before harvest. Do a soil drench and a spray. I think you can do a safe bomb pyrethrum bomb but would be careful like the azatrol. Not 100% sure a bomb should be used in flower. Anyone know?

Spinosad, this is the flavor I use:

Kills thrips dead.

As per directions, 15 ml in 32 oz of water, drench the leaves bottom and top, also soak the top of whatever media you're in.
If you're indoors, spray the room too.
This will kill all the larvae and adults, but there WILL be eggs that they lay inside a hole they pierce which are not effected, so you have to repeat the process at least once in 4 days. Hitting them a 3rd time is a good idea too.
Apparently they sell a product at Home Depot called Monterey Insect spray that has the same stuff in it (0.5% Spinosad).
I fought with thrips with several other products that only worked for a few days and they always came back.
After I used this stuff they are gone, period.

Twice successful with it up to 4th week of flowering.
It is on the organic list in the US I believe, and is OK to use up until the day before harvest.

Personally I wouldn't use it in the last couple of weeks anyway.

PS, you can't get Spinosad in Canada, I had to have it shipped.
