HOW TO KILL SPIDER MITES 100%: " Naturally - no chemicals"

Yes, I've been using the hell out of it on my clones every 3 days since my last post, and they are just fine. Haven't seen 1 bug anywhere in the last week, but found a few egg sites, so you have to keep,spraying them as the eggs hat h every few days and kill them on contact once hatched. I even re-transplanted some 3 day old cuttings and a let them soak in a bowl of the pepper spray for over a minute to completely soak and kill anything that may or may not be living in them, and ironically they look the healthiest of all of them lol...Just don't let the root tip or roots get soaked in it and they love it. Makes em perk right up lol kinda funny.

OK...so I got spidymites....i also got a garden full of haberneros...I'm mixing up this majic potion first thing in the morning and spraying my girls..wish me luck..I'll keep ya posted.

Use caution it's pepper spray and will fuck you up haha. was coughing all night from it. But the mites a capeech

Yeah, my experience with the pepper spray was not good. It imparts a spicey taste if sprayed onto buds and it will burn your lungs if you smoke it. It did not totally remove the mites either. A soapy spray of 2 teaspoons of Dawn Ultra per quart of water is quite effective in smothering the mites and eggs. Go to youtube and look up Dawn Ultra as a bug killer. It only takes around 10 minutes after spraying to work and then you can wash if off with plain water. Do it weekly and you are fine.......

I gave dish liquid bubbles a go, smothered them, rinsed them and they looked worse than b4....also tried spray mist (fairly strong)from the hose and they (spidymites) didnt budge.

You have to use Dawn Ultra.........other dish detergents don't seem to work. I don't know why, but the Dawn works. Go to Youtube and watch some of the videos on the subject. You also need to use the right amount, 2 teaspoons per quart of water- no more, no less.

There are a lot of ingredients in the Dawn. Here's the list:

What should i look for as a positive turnaround in my girls. I sprayed them yesterday. I think they look a bit burned, and maybe a bit stressed too. How often should i do it. Can i substitute birdseye chillis instead, cause i ran out of hab's.

Damaged leaves will never look better....you are trying to stop the healthy leaves from looking worse. Pluck off leaves that are yellowed, dying, etc. as they won't help the plant at this point.

ITS FKKKIN HORRIBLE! lmaoooo....But reallt htough, wise words to nybody going to do this, wear safety googles if you have some...even if you dont, go grab a pair from harbor freight for $.99 or something lmao so worth it, and also, take a bandana, shirt, whatever you have laying around and wrap you nose and mouth with it....I did this the orgnic rout and literally alsmost killed myself every spray nomatter what I did! invest $30 into a 60x micrscope after the second spray and that is how I havent had to spray in over a week now becase even though I can see them on the clones here and there, a normal person would just spray anyway, but because I have the scope and can see if they are living or dead, I have not had to spray in over a week because of this, and currently have NO SIGNS of the mites anywhere on these clones, and the roots or almost a foot long now a fiishboned like crazy ready for transplant. I firmly believe that the ladies love the chemical coupound of the pepper spay, or something in it and it actually gives them a nice little boost in something, because I have not seen clones with these healthy of roots in months. Not scientific proof to back this claim up, just my opinion. I stocked up on habanero's and have 10 packs of 6 each in my freezer for making future batches for preventative maintenance through VEG. ONLY.....this shit is unbelievable strong and I dont even want to imagine what it woulld taste like if sprayed during flowering...although safe as could be, still would never even wanna risk having that taste on my product....unless I absolutely have to and get over-run with an infestation out of nowhere during flowering, then just tell people its the new "pepper kush" lmao

I find getting a vacuum and just suck all those little mights simple then just wash leaves I would cover the soil with plastic bag

okydoky....i made up the habernero pepper spray...and it worked i think. Now i have run out of hab's and cant get any locally, but did get a new hab plant for my garden for preventative purposes. I lost one of my girls probably due to stress along with other stuff...it just dried out like nothin...The stem lost all colour and just died. But the other two are hanging in there. The indica strain also affected badly by spidymites started to dry out and i started to feel desperate. I rang the hardware store and spoke to their garden "specialist" who suggested two products ..Maverick which is chemicals, then Natrasoap which is organic or natural. Both made by Yates. I got the Natrasoap and went to town on my girls and clones. The second surviving girl i have put outdoors into the garden near my hermies, just to experiment. But i am happy to say that i have had a bit of a good turnaround with this product and im getting good colour and new leaves of 2 damaged girls. I also put my indica outdoors and she is lovin it with some fresh new baby leaves sprouting....HAPPY HAPPY.. i have found that a lot of patience is needed and tlc. I am amazed at how quickly they can respond in the correct environment, it is really just a matter of me learning to understand what they are trying to say to me.....i need an interpreter at the moment. i feel like a student learning a new language...plant talk. But nonetheless i continue to perservere and have small wins..oh yeah the pepper spray is a real biter, nasty little thing...but deadly for those spidymites...PEACE.

Yeah I'm dreading it. But I remain optimistic. What a learning curve.

Look up canola oil as an insect killer on youtube.......there are numerous "organic" killer on the market that use this as a smothering agent and it extremely effective. Some also add other ingredients i.e. liquid soap and vinegar. I think it's a cup of oil in a gallon of water.

I just ended a BIG crop last week and in week 4 of flowering I saw some evidence of mites on a few plants. I had a 2.5 gallon container of Mighty Wash which killed them all in 1 application. BUT, it did damage the leaves some, probably because I over-sprayed them to death.

I know, for me, it's all natural and organic from now on with home ingredients that are 1/20 of the cost. And spray at night when the lights go off and rinse the room well the next morning. I have also found that keeping the lights at a reduced brightness or raise them higher for a few days will help them adapt too. And lastly, water the plants well an hour or two before spraying will help the leaves stop any absorbing of the spray.

Ya heres the deal this prob works awesome but as mentioned above it will make buds taste terrible so if ur on week 4 flower at first sign then what should u do?

Just rinse them with water vigourisly and try spray them away until harvest or do you think a shopvac would really work i dont see that doing anything but ruining my leaves bad from abuse?

This is my first time growing and i got them on my auto flowers but just in that room as of now cuz its not a quarantinable room. But anyway i just need make it 4-6 more weeks :/ eek im scared. When should i give up and harvest early? I assume if they start winning its best just pull them early? Ide love hear sum advice on what to do in this situation...

I never pull/cut early as the smoke will suck so why bother. If you're at your wits end, try just spraying with water once or twice daily. They hate it, some will die by smothering and explode from water absorbing, and the stress will probably stop them from producing eggs.......the plants won't mind either.

By the way, any pepper spray left on the buds will burn your throat/lungs when smoked. I actually dipped my finished buds in warm water right after cutting but it made no difference. It was one of the worse ideas I ever tried.....

so glad, I haven't got mites in years. Pepper spay can be bad for you, if you have medical problems.

Funny, though- people become so desperate when a mite infection hits.........they'll try anything. For those still following along, it's best to be proactive early on and spray a preventative whether you have mites or not. Use something like Dawn or canola oil and spray everything i.e. floor, walls, pots, plants, etc. This will do wonders if you attack whatever is or might be there early before they become a problem.
