Tried it and the shit was strong.I had to use a gasmask and long gloves but....The little fuckers were back in just a few days.Used Neem oil @ a higher dosage and in two applications they are extinct..Shit is a great Mace though.I had to cover the covered pot with a towel because it would burn your lungs steeping on the stove.Maybe my spider mites were Mexican?

So my persistent Spider Mite problem... Came from a purple haze clone. Using a 50% of 3% Hydrogen peroxide and H20 foliar spray kills them, but not eggs. Only shows up on a few leaves now. Just sprayed again & put Ozone generator in room for 20 min. Ceiling fan on low, totally sealed grow area. Been an hour and room smells clean :~}
Will do this for 4 days. Wipe down walls around plants & vacuum. Hate using chemicals on my Smoke. Love Organic & simple.

"Pretty powerful stuff and absolutely true. After months and months of mites I FINALLY don't have spider mites, or at least any to speak of. That's the issue, I don't have spider mites now because I operate my garden as though I always have spider mites. I spray once a week on all plants until they are 2 weeks into flowering with GreenClean. I was always in the camp that organic pesticides didn't work on mites until I found GreenClean, the stuff smells like fancy holiday soap, quite pleasant really, and works like gang busters. I used to use MightyWash, and it worked okay, but you could see how hard on the plants it was. I used MightyWash in an emergency situation late in flowering one time and the plant was dead within a couple of days"

Sounds like a GreenClean rep...

I just found some of these nasty buggers on my precious babies, I also noticed some curling in my leaves, could this be from the mites?

OldSoul777 Thank for responding. Outdoor potted plants. A mini Rose Bush, Clover, Christmas Cactus, Aloe Vera, Dahlia's and Hibiscus.Stuff like that. They're all outdoor potted plants and it's about 100 to 105 degrees in the area of CA where I live. These little suckers are spreading like wild fire and it's really pissing me off. Not responding to insecticide very well. Thanks again for you time!!!

it will be fine just apply in the early morning or evening. You are trying to avoid applying in the heat of the day under the sun. Neem oil also works well. I mix it up @ a ration of 32ml of nee and 8 ml of dish soap to 1 gallon of water. I try to ad just enough soap so that it does the job of breaking up the oil. Depending on what brand soap that you use it may take more. 8ml to a gallon is about the minimum amount. The original recipe calls for 8ml of neem and 4ml of Dish soap to a quart of water. best of luck!

Is it necessary to spray the plant off after using the Caliclean spray? If so, how long after? I'm concerned about the effect of the caliclean spray on a person that uses from the plant that has been treated with the spray.

Just wash fruit after harvest. I dont think its necessary but If you do wash it off I would leave it for a bit so it can do its job. I'm pretty sure that pepper spray works on contact and when it dries I dont think it does much as far as residual contact. After it dries IMO I dont think it hurts one way or the other if you washed it off. Id just let it dry before you did.

This is worth repeating... below is the recipe from the original post.

Follow the instructions. IT WORKS!

HERE IS WHAT TO DO

Making the Calicleaner

1.) Get a sauce pan - fill with one pint of water - put on lowest flame possible (do not boil !!!).
2.) Chop 4 -5 Habanera peppers fine. Chop open seeds and central membranes, as the power lies there.
3.) Simmer chopped peppers for 20 minutes - making sure not to boil (you will destroy the active proteins).
4.) When you put your head over the pan and the wispy-steam stings your eyes, the Calicleaner is ready.
5.) Pour the Calicleaner through a fine mesh strainer - a little fine grit is OK - let cool in a clean bowl.
6.) Pour room temperature contents in a mister spray bottle. Your are ready to apply.

HOW TO APPLY Calicleaner
1.) Put on gloves, and wear a mask, or at least put a bandana around your nose and mouth.
2.) Turn off all fans - you do not want this spray in your eyes!!!
3.) Spray the bottom of EVERY leaf - starting with the bottom leaves first, work up to the top.
4.) After the bottoms are done, hit the tops and the stems.
5.) Squirt liberally in new leaf pods - tightly wound new leaf growth (the small mites hide there).
6.) Get the heck out of the room till it clears.
7.) Repeat procedure with each plant.
8.) Spray the soil, the pots, and the floor or earth around the area to kill dropping mites and stop migration.
9.) Wash hands with soap and water when complete - the stuff will heat-up skin for 4 hours.
10.) DO NOT WORRY. Though the stuff is lethal to mites, the plants love it.

WHAT’S NEXT??

Congratulations! You have successfully killed the mites that you sprayed - on contact!. Plus, the mites are thwarted in biting again as they get a lethal dose of hot mouth. Your plants should be turning green again with in half a day. Though the leaves are scarred, they will recover and work again - producing vital sugars for growth.

Do you know if calicleaner will kill lady bugs?

So.. I just took a round of 12 cuttings from NICE healthy plants from my cousin 3 days ago....day after he texts me and says "you've for some azomax for those guys right??"....
Lmao no, I don't, as this is my first round back in the game after 8 years. Luckily they are all from his garden, and after inspecting them, i could only see 2 mites on one of the cuttings leaves out of all 12, so I just whipped up a half gallon of this stuff with 20 peppers, and JESUS is it strong shit lmao, waiting for it to cool down, and spray my humidor down completely. Will update in morning.

Just listed / drenched those suckers, tray, humidome and area around the thing and....O.O....I literally feel like I just got maced by the cops. Dead, stagnent air in the room and everything, but having to get up under the leaves is what got me, just the tiny, little, bit I inhaled has me dripping in snot and coughing my lungs out :spew:.....Lmao this pepper spray BETTER work...used about a half liter this first time on everything, and have another 2-3 liters to,repeat every 2 days for the next week or so to make sure all the eggs (if any) have hatched and I kill em allllll :fire:

On the flip side, clones were looking miiiighty droopy when I was done, a lot more than usual from just normal spraying water weight, like said above, will update 24 hours from now and let you guys know if it did me any good when I look through the loop tomorrow.

well....I don't know if anybody is listening or even cares buuuuuut....THIS STUFF WORKS GREAT.
Checkecked with a 40x loop yesterday morning and had a few dead adults. Lots and lots of eggs, but no living mites. Took a look today and found another baby tha had just hatched, sprayed em room good, went through the whole song and dance again, and am going to do it 2 more times every 2 days fro now to kill any new hatchlings, and I swear they better all be gone for good by then because I WILL go spend $50 on a good mite killer before I make this an every other day habit:wall:....anybody that hasn't done this does not understand....this shit is literally PEPPER SPRAY....eyes, nose, literally closes your wind-pipe so you cant even breathe! :fire::finger: lmao it's horrible, but it indeed DOES KILL MITES...now my evidence has shown that it does not affect the eggs at all, and you do have to repeat until all eggs hatch every few days and kill them swarm by swarm until all of the eggs have hatched, and there are no more living mites, or eggs on your plants.

Will update in about 5 more days to let you guys know if this cured me over the course of 10 days with 5 treatments or not :bigjoint:

This post should come with popcorn. I get to entertained from the back and forth from keyboards. On topic I will be trying this on my plants.
Question, is it okay to use on clones?
I saw a little critter on one of my clones. I'm using an aeroponic cloner btw.
