how to get seeds out of aerogarden stirofoam thing

how do i get the seeds out of the little stirofoam thing that comes in the plants. are they already out or do i have to manually take em out? how do i do this?

i used a knife, mine had little pits where the seeds where i just dug em out and put mine in there... ive heard of people cutting the foam but i dunno...hope i helped

All you have to do is open the sponge and take the seeds off with your fingers. Then take a little Elmer's non-toxic glue and apply the glue wherever you are going to put your seeds, and then put your seeds there, plant and your done.

Yes, just manually remove them and be sure you get all of them. Some are very, very tiny. I cut the sponges in half vertically so it looks like an open book. That's so the roots on the new weeds can grow downward easier. You can also see if you got all the seeds freom thye AG seed kit out of the sponges.

I'd germinate the seeds you want to put in there in a wet paper towel and put them in a plastic zip lock bag in a warm dark area for a couple days to sprout them. Open the bag once a day for air and to check on the progress. They should germ in 2-3 days if they are from a good quality strain. Take out the germed seeds, when the tap root is 1/2" to 1" long and put it in the AG sponges, tap root down. The root is fragile so be careful not to tear it.

in mine the seeds werent very deep in the sponge

yea, im having the same problem, how do u knowif you got all of them? how many usually come in a thing?
