Never used hot-shot. But what i did use late in flower was mighty wash. It worked excellent and is safe at any stage in flower. Spray just before lights out and rinse when lights come on.
Rinse it completely? Is it a 1 time use spray mites explode then spray with ro water??

I used a pump sprayer to apply the mighty wash. I sprayed everything buds soil snd around the pot and my floor. Then I I used the same sprayer with just water to rise the plant off.
how long you let the mighty wash sit for?
then rinse

I am fighting them too right now. I just used azamax both systemically and sprayed them down. I will let the plant sit outside in the cool weather 55f low- to 70 high to help reduce the activity in hopes i can get control of these blasted insects. I will wash the plant daily to help rid them. I don't know, could be a crazy idea maybe it will work? I do know that cold weather does not kill these bastards, but does slow the destruction down. The destruction on my beauty is happening while still in veg mode with another 4 months prior to flower.
