How to clean sticky scissors?

This is my first time trimming my product and my scissors are getting so sticky! It is getting harder and harder to trim and move my scissors with ease. Any advise to clean them to make trimming easier? Something that won't affect the overall taste of my buds :weed:

Drop them in a cup of isopropyl and let it sit for a couple minutes, then wipe it right off with a towel. Salt on the towel (acting as an abrasive) makes it easier.

Yup rubbing alc+epsom salts. I read on another thread to put your trimming gloves in the freezer for a bit if you want to use the kief off of them. Wouldn't be a bad idea for scissors either. And, like while preparing foods, wipe your blades often!

Agree with these guys. I use a shot glass, and fill it with rubbing alcohol, and just keep 3 pairs rotating in that. As they get dirty, put into the glass, and pull out another pair that has soaked for a while and wipe it off with a wet towel. Then I run it under water and wipe again. Good luck. Having dirty clips is good news!!!

A way less toxic way to clean them, and your hands too, is to rub veg oil on them then just was your scissors/hands and clean as a whistle .........JR
I do believe I'm going to have to try this (on the scissors at least).

All of these work fine, but first scrape off the resin with a razor blade. 1-you get scissors hash and 2-the remaining film cleans off a lot easier.

Remember if you go the "rinse with water" route to get them really dry after...you don't want rusty blades. Alcohol evaporates quickly so rust isn't an issue.

Scrape with a razor blade, when you get a good ball, drop it in your pipe and smoke some pure THC. Who cares if the scissors never get shiny again.
