How to clean hid bulbs

i know ur not supposed to touch the bulbs with ur hands cuz the oils could make it blow, ine is a used and i just want to be careful, what should i use, rubbing alcohol?

make sure the bulb is off and cool to the touch. You should use the same type of cloth used for cleaning prescription eye glasses. I guess you can use just about anything within reason as long as you make sure to wipe thoroughly and that there are no oils/residue from anything on the glass before starting it up again.
