Yeah i guess they just send you a letter but idk.... I guess if i use a proxy and get it ordered here then maybe.. that would be a little better, maybe if anything does happen with the police, i could just say i never ordered it?

Great Idea, Loved the way how the lights are setup... I was gonna buy a pre-made one (pcgrowcase.com) but I might go ahead and make my own... it really does seem quite simple.

Can you explain further how you have managed to power your fans, I live in the UK but I sure this process is the same in any country. I dont know much about electrics,.. so go easy on me!!

all pc fans run on 12 volts dc(direct current) like a car battery.many adapters in you house put out approx 12 vdc like cell phone chargers, cordless phone bases, any small black transformer that has an output of between 9-15 volts dc. this info is right on the transformer it self just look at you junk drawer or old small electronics you willl find one! if not you can but a nics 12 volt dc adapter for maybe 7-10 euros??? then when you get it cut off the small plug on the end and expose the bare wires (should be two) now hook them to the + and - on the fan and tap them up good! most fans can be wired both ways so if you need it to blow the other way just switch the wires!!!

hope that helps mate!

I would like to have the same light setup as this, however I see that the plug strip is for use in the US. I live in the UK and cannot seem to find the cfl adapters for a UK plug socket. Could I basically buy one of the US power strips and US adapters and then use a step down converter for the strip and plug that into the wall... Hope you can help!!

I like the way how it is housed in the box (adding to the stealth aspect), nice and clean too, all plug and play so to speak.

I know nothin about electronics, so I could benefit from this type of setup and not have to start cutting wires. Also, I think it is a more safer option than trying to hang bulbs from a cord.

i know in the us we use step down transformers to run your stuff so im sure the step up transformer would be perfect! just get a us power strip and adapters then makw sure your step up transformer can handel the wattage of the bulbs and you should have the plug and play you want! i ddnt see your pics but i think this is what your talking about in this pic??

hope this helps!

they have built in circut protection to avoid problems! plus it should be hot enough to keep itself dry! if you see any scary holes you think might get moisture in them you could seal them with silicone:) you can also put a blob on each outlet before plugging it in to seal each set of holes! yup i like this thread too i like helping out diy'ers with projects:) i havent built a pc (too small for my needs) but my whole room was built for under a hundred bucks i like to keep things cheap and simple!

I was just thinking, haveyou had any problems with humidity and the power strip... would want the thig to catch fire or cause a power cut.

??

Thanks bro, good ideas

yea, I wouldnt mind havin somethin bigger meself (only a little bit) - only doin it for meself, but if I could get just over 2 oz each grow, I wouldnt need to buy bud again.. its probabaly possible with a pc case, just need to get the right strain and conditions..

Ive got some mazar fem seeds ungerminated that are meant to have a good yeild (I have heard of yeilds of 6oz off 4 plants... this is just one)

obvoiusly gunna need LST, but see what happens. NEED TO GET THE CASE SETUP FIRST.

the best bet is trying to only grow 1-2 big buds that way your not wasting space with extra leaves branches!

Thanks, I will keep that in mind

This will be my first grow, so I may not get it right first time. I rekon if I stick to one strain (at least for the first few grows), I can see how the plant grows in shape. That way I can predict how the next plant wil take shape and I can train or prune the plant accordingly to maximise grow space.

i thought my first indoor grow was going to just be a trial run-learning experiance. with the help of the riu staff and members i turned a few bagseeds into 3.5-4.5 oz of killer meds ! all it takes is a lil reading and some time! i just jarred my second harvest i cut the plants down at two or three different times to let the lower buds finish! a few pics included and in my signature!
