How to build a PC Grow Box (Pics Included)

The site you bought it from is the one you linked here? If so thats where i got it and the only email i got so far was my receipt. Not a big deal it is probably cause of the holidays.

yea companies won't be doing much since its the holidays. If anything they will ship it the next day for few after the 25th

Im going to try to look for a old speaker or something at a pawn shop later today adn see if I can pick one up. I would still use my PC case but when the plant gets to big I'm probably going to move it into a better box so it can grow big. I'm going to make a clone pc box soon to aswell, just for fun lol.

depending on the strain i think you should get more than an 1/8 or 1/4 but I'm really interested in starting something like this, 1 to see the results of cfl grow, and I have old server cases laying around, I got one that is 3' tall, I want to use that one.

u want to start a small stealth spot?
make a grow set up in the back of ur toilet bowl put the lights on the inside top and set a little platform at the bottomand in the back of the toilet bowl make a couple holes for fans on the insidethen there u go put some decorations on top and who would know :0)

maybe you could use a lamp for a grow lol. It would be easier to buidl your own case and just mout the light ontop, but no one would ever suspect anything if a cord was running out of the bottom of it. This is just a random lamp I found, but something along those lines...just the case would be wider and taller. I'm going to head over to the store tomarrow and see what kinda lamps they have, cus if its tall enough I could definatly get one plant in there with a light and fan

hey u know u could always really fake people out all u have to do is get a real big pot like 10 or 15 gallon or less depending on the size of grow u want to make but for people who want to do micro or sog or scog get a decent size pot build a lid that goes down in the pot like half way or less closer to the top then set up a grow room in there with ur lights an little air machine and whatever else u need and on top u put a fake plant on the lid u made and have it so u could take it off easy and put it back on like the soil would be in a pot bag so it wont fall everywhere and it would be good to manage and thats it when u need to water open the lid and ull have drainage on the bottom like normal and set up a spot for the wire to go threw and what ever else u need :0)

Found them in the electrical section at Walmart. I'm sure Home Depo and Lowes have them too. They were 1.87.

i think your missing the point of a pc grow . Its not just growing in a metal box . Its growing right on your desk out in the open "stealth like" i know if i had a big metal box all riveted together with wire and lights coming out of it my friends and fam would ask ?'s. An extra computer tower buzzing in the corner is almost kinda normal these days.

if u wat it more life like too u could set up like those certain type of lights so when its on it looks like its runing a comp like a real one.

I got a new light but the screw in part is to big for a normal socket... what do I need to do?

i was thinking the same question.
u could always see if they have those sizers the things that go in reg socket on 1 side and the other side is a bigger socket
unless u can find a socket that it fits and will be able to plug in a reg wall outlet

You need a mougle socket they are in little plastic bins at the end of one of the electrical isles at the depot. Then whack the end off an extension cord strip, twist , tape , plug.

well i could have been mistakin about the wattage but it was that bulb i remember cuase i opened it up and seen the same thing it was too big but i liked it and wanted to get it didnt have enough but i will wensday :0)

Just bought a case but didnt get a power supply as I didnt think I would be using it but I read that you can just hook the fans up to this so they are running all the time and have the lights on a timer? Is there a DIY guide here on how to hook the fans up or would someone mind telling me? What is the cheapest power supply I could get just to hook the fans up?

this stealth grow is gudgud , can u tell me is them cfl u r using, are CFL the same a the energy bulbs in homes coz phillips sent me 4 free energy bulbs but are these cfl or just normal bulbs

cfl's are compact florecent lights. They look like they are wound up like a coil kind of. Just google it and you will know.
