It was all looking so good. This was my first time growing. Needless to say it was a long busy summer. Started with 12 clones all different strains. I lost 2 early on to some unknown deficiency (probably me not feeding right). Fixed that problem and I thought I was on my way to a very merry Christmas!!!! Then one day I noticed some white powdery substance on my leaves. Thought maybe I had just dropped some nutrients on accident so didn’t think much of it for a few days. My biggest FUCKUP of the season!!!! It was PM!!! Never even heard of the stuff. One by one they were infected. All but two had none and one had some. The rest were TRASH!!! All in all I must have thrown out 4-6 pounds. Almost made me cry. I did salvage three of them and turned one into bubble hash. Total I ended up with about 1 1/2 lbs and a couple ounces of bubble hash which should be enough personal for the year so I’m kind of happy. Next year I DOMINATE!!!!! Do I need a card as well? I know of a few people that have them but these old friends have become estranged from my life. No longer want or need your help. Thanks

If you had hit the PM hard with lemon water when you first saw it, there is a chance you could have pulled some of those through. Just mix one part lemon juice with two parts water. It changes the PH on the leaves, so the PM can't flourish.

You can also wash your buds in H2O2 water to get any loose PM spores off your harvest.

Yes I know now. Spent the last month trying to rescue them after I found out it was PM but it was too late. I did the H202 bath to a couple of them that didn’t have it as bad and it actually seemed to work. The others were just covered and didn’t want to risk it. I’ll be ready next year!!!!

5 marihuanas, I never weigh shit I grow for myself. It would only lead to me working out how long it should last vs how long it does last.

    This is termites.

Got a pic that won't upload that is a 4-5" diameter stalk that I cut in half. The plant was dead on one side of the plant and the other half had dying and almost ready bud still on the plant.
Stalk had been devoured by termites and when I was sawing the stalk. Termites were flying out from the saw.
3/4 of stalk was gone (hollow) and the termites were working on the other side that was still somewhat alive.

Insects don't attack healthy plants, whereas sick plants radiate a smell that attracts them.

The posts on my pole barn must be sick then. I just spent $1400 getting it treated.

Insects do what they can to survive. If it is extremely dry these termites will attack plants for moisture.

Wish I could make my plants just a little more healthy so bud worms won't eat the bud stems or spider mites suck the life out of the leaves.

of course, but if you and your neighbor were both growing and you had plants in worse condition, you will likely have more bugs pitching up.
