Man 4 a banker you cant spell for shit!!! But seriously this site is great and the people are very helpful. Just do some research and searches before asking a question, I made the same mistake when I first joined and got the same results remember God helps those who help themselves If you believe in that shit.

I came here to ask a question and i get a bunch of people with obviously no lives who just get a kick out of ignorant replies. If you can't answer the question then go ahead about your business, you guys could've easily corrected my question and answered it ..simple.. As far as those who try to humiliate someone over a mistake then kiss my ass no homo. Don't get a band wagon by riding others and trying to fit in so that you can get additional credibility of teasing someone when your suppose to get credibility for helping lol. Also if you have nothing good to say regarding my question take you reply and shove it up ya lose asshole. I'm sorry if you aren't intelligent enough to know what a newbie means and the difference between newbie & expert. You have to learn to know, its not like its common sense on growing bud if so this forum wouldn't attract much audience which is here for help. Anyway i appreciate one 1 person out of 82 others who actually gave me a helpful reply. As far as one plant how many grams of bud does it usually give you?
Hello George,
Your rebuttal was beautiful, welcome!

Dude, just let it go.
Yeah, people are annoyed. No one on this site is paid to help you. And yes, stupid questions are asked every day. My teacher always said there IS such a thing as a stupid question--- it's a question that's already been answered numerous times, numerous ways and the asker didn't bother to listen/look. Maybe you are doing research for someone else, maybe not, but if you are as educated and reasonable as you try to claim, why head immediately to stupid 14 yearold "gay" insults. Hurts your cause more than it helps. People on this site have devoted weeks/months/lifetimes to learning this craft-- you are not talking to a bunch of loser stoners who just shove a seed in a bucket and cross their fingers. BUT... everyday they answer questions from those exact people, so yeah, they get a bit snippy. Just cut your loses and be more aware next time you have a question. People here will be helpful and civil if you approach them with respect and with out a desire to have someone do it for you. Google Growing Marijuana and lord knows you can find everything you need-- it IS work.
GG.

Hello George,
Your rebuttal was beautiful, welcome!
It really comes down to how long you veg - I would say up to 12 for veg - the norm is 2-4 weeks (im sure i'll get bashed) then on average another 8-10 of flowering at 12 hours day/night only. I cant say the yield because I always flower after 2-4 - but with 2-4 weeks veg I get about 2 oz finish and thats good expect about 1 as a newb, if you have more questions feel free to pm me.

Good luck, its fun no matter the yield. i find the learning is half the reward.

As far as your original question, these variables are important in determining your yield:
1. Indoor or outdoor? If indoor, 20 watts per square foot, or 50 watts per plant, is recommended, but the more light the better.
2. Commercial seeds or bagseed? The strain you select will affect yield.
3. When do you want to harvest? ASAP means a strain like Lowryder, which will require many more plants to get a pound grown indoors, but will be ready to harvest in 90 days. If your target date for harvest is farther out, you could make due with one female plant like Skunk #1 (or possibly even bagseed) outdoors, but you won't harvest until mid to late October.
4. How many (female) plants do you wish to grow? If you desire one female, germinate at least three seeds.

First time giving advise on here, if you got the right equipment and a ton of patience than it all depends on what method you use to grow i.e hydroponics, soil, aero, bubble. Time and money spent into nutrients, electricity etc.(1000w mh/hps)($13.00 per 12/hrs) and especially quality seeds. Could take one (monster momma) could take a few full growing tries. hope that helps

Yea I guess we gave you a hard time and now we're back to our normal selves :blsmoke:

We still highly recommend that you read as much of the growFAQ as possible and anything else you can get your hands on. Even browsing random posts can teach you a ton of information. And when you do have a question, use the search function and look around for a bit. If you still can't find it, then ask away and people will be more than happy to help you.

The most successful first time growers are the ones who took months (sometimes years) to research every aspect of growing before they begin. Those who just sprout some seeds and then decide to ask "ok what do i do now?" are much less likely to end up with good results. If you really want to help your friend/family member out and eventually have a great grow yourself, then soak up as much information as possible now.

Thanks a lot bro, and yes i agree soaking up a lot of information before a person tries something usually gives them a better chance at what they are trying to do. He is ordering one of those growing kits like that come with the pots already its like a little thing that you set up and you put the lights etc in it. i cant show you a link because the site he is ordering it from is down Hydro Wholesale - Hydroponics and Grow Lights not working right now. From the previous videos ive watched though they didn't use one of those kits they just used a room and sealed it up. These things go for $1-2k im not sure if he's making a smart investment!
