HOW MANY PLANTS CAN I FIT IN A 2'x2' AREA?

Im gonna buy 2 sour kush and 2 northern lights x big bud feminized seeds so i was wondering how many i can grow in that amount of space. I want to vegg for about 3 or 4 weeks before i start flowering so there gonna be kinda big. So how many can i fit and is it ok if their kinda packed in or do they need alot of space? Ohh and im using 150w hps with 4 23w cfl's. Thanks in advance

you might get 2 at most in there....2' in height isnt much,and with a hps in there your going to burn the hell out of them if you dont have really good ventilation.might want to consider going right to 12/12 with your lights or your going to outgrow your area and end up burning up the tops of your plants.during the first 3 weeks of flower they go into "stretch" mode where they can grow almost triple in size.might want to look into getting autoflowering strains...they stay small and finish fast.northern lights x big bud is a high yielding commercial grower strain...its going to outgrow your area fast.it would take topping and a lot of training to try and contain that in a 2x2 area

Anywhere from 1 to 16, depending on how you want to grow them. 2 is going to be a stretch unless you get a brighter lamp.

What are you looking to get as far as yield? If I were you I'd grow either 2 monsters and possibly get a larger HPS system. Or do a mini SOG type grow use 64 oz. cups in that space. Grow one mother plant and cut as many clones as you can fit in there in 64 oz. cups and switch to 12/12 as soon as they root.

You should easily fit 4 in 2 gallon pots under that much space. I use that to veg my plants before transplanting them into bigger pots but if I switched them to 12/12 with a bit of trimming you should be good

I have 6 in a 2x2 tent, DR60. 4 in 2 gal square pots, and 2 in 1gal grow bags. They might be 2 gal bags or 1.5, anyhow I have to squish the bags in to fit.

I would try to get a 250 watt hid for that space, the 150 is a bit weak. If using the cfl, I would place them lower down in among the plants to get the area the hid cannot penetrate.

I would stick with just 2.... maybe do 1 of each strain?
