How many ounces do you go through a year for daily prescription?

Trying to figure out how many plants I should grow to produce a year supply of my medical strain, I'll be smoking it every day. I could purchase a 3X3 tent, 4x4, or 5x5.

Start at a 1g/day.
That's a 1/4 week, 1 oz a month etc.
Then say in a 3x3 you do 3 plants.
Conservatively say you get 6oz/grow.
So that's 6 months worth in one cycle of 4-5 months.

Realistically with experience you could shoot for 1g/watt. Then you could grow 1 year in one shot with one light.

I use bout an 8th a day x365 days and my 4x4 tent keeps me stocked and left overs

everyone has different needs.I use about a gram per day but my S.O. who is struggling with cancer uses 4 grams per day. the number of plants you need also depend on the strain you grow and your skills and experience as a grower.

I guess it also depends on how tall you grow your plant on how much of a product you will get. The tallest I could grow them would be a little less then 4ft. As far as how much I would use it a day, I'd say two or three times a day if the strain would last a few hours after each hit; if only lasting one hour I'd be smoking five times a day at most. I'll be vaporizing if that effects the consumption rate.

I am going to say 15-20 oz. Yeah that would be good. 1 oz tends to be skimpy towards the end of the month.

Looks like I should probably grow three plants in a 4X4 with my 600 watt light setup. Three plants in a 3x3 would be a little crowded I would imagine, and I would have to use a 400 watt hood which would produce even lower yields.
