How many ccs to inoculate?

How many ccs to do I use from a pre made spore syringe to inoculate a single half pint jar of substrate? I was told 5 ccs but that seems a bit much just fore one jar.

On a 10cc syringe. I use 4 cc per jar. I grow the strain B+.

PK tek. Brown rice, vermiculite', Soft water.

Each jar. 1ml of the syringe. I'm hoping that makes sense. That syringe will do 10 jars. Of course, more the better on spores.
