How long will pollen be active

Hi all


my first grow two plants both males i let them grow on till the pollen sacks opened and pollen fall all over the floor, i just stopped watering them and turned off the light and they died, now i have my new grow 10 females with pre flowers that were in a different room, and i wont to put them in the room where the males were, i just tock (males) them out and i swept the floor when i move the girls in and turn on the fan and if there is some pollen in there can it pollinate my girl i was thinking of washing the floor a light bleach solution i dont went them to pollinate.

If you already put the females in then the damage is already done. Odds are you'll have a few seeds but not too many, not something worth worrying about.

What's done is done, but in the future you'd want to spray the grow room down with bleach or pine sol or something like that to kill all the pollen before putting females in there.

Thanks for your reply i have not put the girls in yet. do you know how long the pollen is active, male plants have been dead about 2 weeks but i just tock them out today 6 foot males of bag seed after growing three months after two weeks of 12/12 i saw the balls i was pissed but i learned
i can spot a male now as soon as shows be for 12/12 now, i jess i new
before 12/12 but i was thinking i mint be wrong but i was right.
i have 10 widow girls all preflowered 2 b52 girls 9 lowryder ak47 reg, don't know yet but i think there will be at lest 2 males that i wont to pollinate the girls with at lest 1 of each to get some seeds the ak47 are 12 days
old so i am trying to time it so the girls will be budding when the ak47 male
will be ready hopefully i can make some auto flowers out of the ww and b52

Pollen is viable for a month or two depending on conditions, so you should gut and clean and spray the room down.
