those thin leaves show that you've got a more sativa leaning strain. most slh and ssh that ive grown have taken AT LEAST 70-80 days. your plants look real good, don't take them too early

The one i have my hand around i think is nearly done is a beast real fat and solid. But ye the otherz took a while to show flowerz so defo a sativa leaning strain im guna give them another 6 weeks

The only way to truly tell if a bud is ready is to examine the trichs using a loupe or scope. If this is new to you there is a great trichcomes thread in the harvesting section that I suggest you read.

my last ssh that i grew was done in 82 days. without tric pics it will be hard for anyone to tell u for certain when to cut.

look at her pistils..she is still actively seeking pollen..so no..she's not ready..i've got her in my line-up currently and this is the first time i've grown this strain..sativa is notoriously 9-10 weeks..some can go 100 days of flower..but their always well worth it.

smoked a sample and all i can say is duuuuuuude..this shit makes you feel like a little kid again..it's amazing and everything they say it is.

look for field of gold. you've come this far and if you chop early it will come to haunt you..with clear trichs, you'll get paranoia..let them get 'milky' then 'field of gold'. do you have a loupe or microsope?

.

look for field of gold.
Bad advice! Field of gold? Those gold trichomes are degraded thc and are actually changing or already transitioned to cbd = stoney couch lock effect? I would try to observe a more balanced trichome composition. More like 5%-20% amber trichomes. The key is to not focus on looking for amber trichomes but try to get as many milky(,fully relized thc) resin glands as possibly, while not letting too many degrade.
Plus when growing sative dominant strains you typically want lower then usual amber trichomes to stay away from that couchlock type effect and more of that nice sativa high

everyone has their own idea..and i'm well aware what degraded thc is and how it occurs..the maximum effect will occur at 'just' yellow..i read a lot and am schooled by only the best this site has to offer.
