How long have you had your Volcano for?

I've had mine 6 years this upcoming April, with very little issues. A button on mine broke one morning, about a year ago....I shipped the vaporizer into Storz-Bickel in L.A. and got a phone call from them about a week later (they wanted to see just how much I wanted to have fixed/replaced as my "shield" thing has several dents). All in all cost me $60 and I was without the vape for like 2 weeks. Not too bad for 5 years of ownership I suppose.

I'm just trying to see if anybody else has had one longer than I have, or if they have already gone through a couple. Trying to figure out the lifespan of these things.

I heard somebody bought out Storz-Bickel a few years ago and now their vaporizers are made much more cheaply....????

I got mine almost 9 years ago. Dropped it a few times onto a cement floor from my tool bench too. Still works like a champ.

My Volcano was not heating up properly and my vape was more like smoke then vape. I had it for 2years and have a 3 year warranty with it. So i called the Stortz-Bikle number and they had a recorded message as to where i needed to send it.
I packed it up good and sent it back. they returned my volcano very quickly and in a new orginal box which i no longer had.
Im not sure what they really did though because i still need to dial it down at 4 to get a good vape thats not to thick or smoke like. When i first got my volcano i was up at the 6 and it worked good. Im worried that i will have to continue to keep dialing it down until its at like 1.
Im not very impressed with the unit after all this time anyway. It still irritated my throat and the amount of herb i use is so much more then when i do a bong hit.
There are many things i have learned about the Volcano and vaping .Like for instance the first balloon is the best tasting but the weakest high. the second balloon of the same chamber is the strongest. The third ballon from the same chamber can get harsh and smoky. then its time to toss all that herb out. Kinda a waste if you ask me. Plus its such a pain in the ass to get it all ready. Grind it all up , turn on the unit, wait.. blow the balloon up.. suck it up without forgetting you didnt suck it all up.lol..
Im actually looking to sell my Volcano Vaporizer and get myself a nice bong with a diffuser and perc on it.

You through out your vape duff after only 3 bags??...what a waste...... no wonder you dont like the volcano

We get atleast 5, 3ft bags.... then we use the duff for edibles... 1 cup duff per 1 stick butter

I own a store make some killer no bakes and carmels with the cannabutter made from volcano duff

Only had mine for about year and a half now, works great.
i find if you go over 5 it's too high of a temp, starts to actually smoke, not vape

Volcano's great but I'm more of a whip kinda guy. I just got The Plenty a few days ago. I'm loving it so far but still figuring out what works best for me. I was concerned because of the plastic on it but Stortz and Bickel put out another well-made product. I also love the looks and feel. Vaporizes like a dream.

my volcano r.i.p. 2002-2012. ten years is a good ass run for like 275 that it coast at the time. even for 650 its a steel. its like a car. you spend 20k on something that lasts you 10 years or more. the volcano is like a car not like a bong or pipe

i would tell anyone who wants a volcano to go buy a magic flight box. life time warenty for 120. you can take it any were cause its a pipe as is more affective then the volcano. don't get me wrong r.i.p. my volcano who i loved for years but the mfb is off the chain. plus you can throw it away if you get sweated by the pigs and just send them a letter and they will mail you a new one
