How long are people waiting to hear back from Health Canada ?

I would upload a pic but site seems to have issues. Maybe I'll upload a video to YouTube and post a link explaining my grow. Still a little nervous though lol.

They had a problem with pics months ago and put up that notification about it but it's been fine for a long time but nobody got around to removing the sign. @sunni ?

Pics are cool to upload but make sure you have the locator function turned off in your phone or camera so the GPS location isn't in the pic's or video's EXIF file info. Be good to either drop the resolution or resize the pic before uploading so it's not 5 megs for each pic too. I do mine at 4" wide and 300ppi and they come out sharp and only 500K or so.

Did you just go for outdoor growing or a mix? I'm going full indoors so I get 39 plants with my 8g/day. Tempted to get a mix but I'm so far north that only autos would finish in time if they even did. I like to experiment with breeding my own crosses so a lot of that 39 would be small plants that would never be fully grown out anyways. By Xmas I hope to have about 10 plants flowering all the time in a perpetual grow.

OldMed User, I would recommend a greenhouse tunnel bought for around 200-300 bucks for outdoor.. If your worried about not finishing and cold weather I would recommend light deprivation beginning of august or actually when ever you want. You are now in control of temperature by adding heater at night. I use the black and whit reflective plastic sold as my cover.. Uncover during the day and control the nights.

covering pl;ants works wonders in area's that receive too much rain in the fall...
I'd rather cover them than have to deal with mold or other things.
Another thing covering helps...is the loss of big branches from the wind...especially right near the end.
It really sucks to see branches sitting in the dirt and a 1/4 pound of bud ruined.

I've thought of that but just not that doable here without attracting attention. Farmer Joe drives right past our house and can see everything in the yard and I'm right on a highway.

Just out of curiosity if you are a acmpr patient with paperwork in hands what does it matter. I couldn't care less if my neighbors know.. I can guarantee there will be no theft with 3 dogs barking upon movement.. However maybe your situation is different.

After so many months of hard work, I would concentrate on doing whatever it takes have a plentiful harvest with enough meds to last a good while.. In my opinion that trumps what your neighbors might think. I mean its going to be recreational in 10 months, are you going to care what farmer John thinks next summer!!

Yes for sure I have a greenhouse tunnel off kijiji.. The only down fall is it only 7ft tall at its round peak. I had to add 3/8 piping to legs to raise it up. I think the peak now is 15ft tall and 1 of the 3 is poking out the peak of frame. They already started budding over the last week and a half. Ive taken the UV cover off greenhouse and put up black and white poly. Goes on at 9pm and comes off at 9am . Should do ok if I can keep the elements to a minimum.

I haven't got my permit to grow just my doctor's papers and if/when I apply to grow I'm planning to get indoor only tho thinking maybe a mix then play around outside in the summer. Only have one 16 year old dog left and no plans to replace him. Our closest neighbour got home invaded a while back by crack heads who roughed up his wife pretty bad while demanding drugs, money and guns. Got his money, guns and 2 near new pickup trucks but they're god fearing folk who had no drugs. I wonder sometimes if they got the wrong house and were looking for my place.

I live in a typical small town area where if one person knows what you're up to it's not long before the whole town knows. I may be selling the farm in the next year so I'd need to remove any traces of growing before I could show the place to prospective buyers as well tho it might be a good selling point for some buyers. :)

You just have to click on the message and you can close it...
Shouldn't be there is the issue. Tiny bit of mod/admin maintenance to remove it. I don't even notice it there any more but newer members think it actually means something.

I'm the only active admin/mod/chief cook and bottle washer on a very slow but older than this pot forum and it's a few clicks to get rid of something like that. Sure a lot of damn pot spammers from CO tho. :)
