I'm wondering How much time should i run the vacuum to get full purge!
a low potency pump will make it harder to wax the bho? or make it hard shatter?

also I've been running the pump for no longer than 2 hours, then keep the pressure, and after pump cool down run it again, cause I'm afraid of fucking it! (gets really hot, manual says run no longer than 15 min, it's Chinese)

please some advice about it, it gets the work done fine or should i just return it and buy some 6 cfm, and 1/2 HP (the other option i had for 60 more dollars)

thanks!

It will pull low enough, but as you note isn't rated for continuous duty, which is how I use one.

I read somehwere that you dont have to run the pump 24/7, i think it was on skunkpharm. Is there any truth to this?

Some folks don't, but we ran our's full time until it was purged. Starting with cotton candy, it only takes around four hours at 115F to get under 10% of FDA maximum residual solvent standard/

Its tricky as you may have already discovered. At the start, you need to play with pump and the release valve to pull out the butane, from there its a 24 hour pull at 90'ish degrees. Viva reptile heating pads for the warming needs.
