How important is lighting during veg?

Hey guys,

New grower here so bear with me, but I have a space bucket (basically a garbage can with LED strips all the way around and CFL's at the top with exhaust and intake fans) that I'm using for seedlings and a veg room before transferring to my grow closet that runs 12/12 with DIY LEDS. I have an old Vipraspectra300 LED light, would I see big improvements using this in the space bucket instead of the CFL lighting?

For what improvements are you hoping? Faster growth? Healthier plants? What is insufficient about the current setup?

Nothing insufficient per se, I just have a better LED I could swap the CFLs for, it just would be a bit of a pain to reconfigure the space bucket so was wondering if it would be worth the hassle. I guess to make it simple, yeah I am asking if I would see faster growing and healthier plants with the stronger LED instead of the CFLs.
