Ok this us how I've been doing it let me know how I can improve or what I need to change...
Every week or when she drinks all the water up I do a rez water swap dump the 3/4 of a gal that's left and mix up a new 3 gal batch of water and nutes and drop her in the fresh well about 1/2 to 2/3 is left in my mix bucket and that's what I top her off with though out the week.
Now the question should I just mix less and just top off with ph'ed water or is it ok to top off with the left over nute water?

Thanks for any and all info if I sound like a idiot let me know about I take any and all advice ;-)

If your asking if you should use the old rez water to start a new rez then no. Nutrient water enters the rez. The plant eats and drinks from it. The plant may consume more nitrogen than potasium, leaving your leftovers short on nitrogen and high in potasium. Then you read the ppm and its ok but your low in nitrogen. Get it?

Nope the left over new that didn't fit in the rez when I made new water/nutes not leftover old from the rez...

Also do you guys change your pH right in the rez? If I check and its getting high can I just add some pH down right to the rez?

Dude your first post is so unclear. Is your rez a five gallon bucket, a 55 gallon drum, an icb container or a custom water tub three hundred gallon? All synthetic nutrients should be fine to hold for two weeks if your worried about that. My philosophy on phing is, i ph what im feeding right now. If i have a large volume of water/feed thats going in ill ph it all. But if im not useing it all then ill only ph as i use it, (like if you have a huge rez mixed and your not adding it all at once) just because the ph always seems to rise on me as the nutrient rich water sits. But thats cause im cheap too and dont like having to ph twice lol

5 gal bucket with a 3.5 slid down in it sorry about the confusion what I'm really concerned with is to much nutes it seams like the water is going away but the ppm keeps going up and I was thinking its because I'm adding the water with nutes in it to just give more water I know the ppm keeps going up I guess what I need to do is mix water pH don't add nutes and give it a drink and see if they still move up or stablize. Thanks...

What i did for five gallon self contained rez is, check the rez ppm first. Say my target was 850. After a day it was at 900. I know im going to need to add one gallon and minus roots i have two gsllons of water left in there, id add one gallon of solution at say...seven hundred and check ppm again. Hopefully it made it equal out to 850. And the same with the ph if you do that. I didnt ph. But most do. My water was at 6 outta the tap though. Seven was all shed climb to in a week.

Ok simole as this ill add pics of mine at 35 days of flower. I change the water every sunday. Though every day I have to add 4 liters to each of my 2. I always mix 20 liters at a time amd if I dont use it I cover the bucket amd run an air stone in the bucket! Use as needed but every sunday I completely drain the rez and discard said water and restart!
