How do I make the transition from seed to outdoor plant?

Hi everyone first poster here, bear with my I really am a novice.
I live in a sort of tropical country so it's apparently great for outdoor grows. How would I go from germinating the seed to getting it planted outside in the ground. One of my major concerns is making the plant go into flowering because the light cycle here is about 14/12 so does anyone have any tips on going from a 18/6 to 14/12 without flowering happening. Or in fact does anyone have any better alternatives to getting the plant all ready and planted outside? That's all I pretty much need is a route to getting the plant into the ground without early flowering.

Thanks in advance.

Are the days getting longer or shorter? If longer you will be ok by the time there ready to move outside i would think. If they r getting shorter then the only option is provide lighting re move them in and out and that is a pain. Start the seeds in doors and let them get established then move them outdoors in a shaded area for a bit to acclimatize, then full sun. This is not gospel, just what I have done with many, many outdoor fields lol.

If you keep it in a pot and move it back and forth every day it won't flower. It needs probably 16 hrs a day to keep vegging but I don't know the cut off point before it does push out female flowers whether it's 15 hrs or 14 but it's generally excepted that 12 hrs for most species will force flowering.
So basically what I'm saying is keep it potted until you want to flower it then plant it. That way it's easy to move it.
