Im a caregiver, and what we did was signed some papers that stated I will be the active caregiver for so and so, ...

Also, We had to photo copy our drivers licenses and attatch and date. Simple procedure.

Now I have the paperwork posted in the grow room.

Now Im Legal.. so they say. :-?

For those in Cali, it's pretty simple and streamlined... He's asking about Michigan.

Honestly, I don't know. But my first guess would be a stop at the Secretary of State's web site and see what you can find about a being a caregiver. Hell, ask your buddy what he did to get his card, and I'm sure it's a simular procress that would involve you both for you to be his caregiver. Man... honestly I don't even know if MI does the whole "caregiver" thing that we do in Cali. :?

BTW, I used to live in MI before I moved to Cali. Shit, I hear theres a dispensary in Southfield?! I used to work in Southfield. Aint that about a bitch!?

If you smoke the ganga, you probably have been using it to treat a medical condition you didn't know you have. Why not get your own script? CLOSETGROWTH is right about the documentation. You and your friend are protected by law to procure medication through a closed-loop collective.

if he already sent in his paperwork he will need to fill out a change form and you will have to fill out a caregiver's attestation. If he hasn't sent it in yet he can fill your name in the "who is allowed to possess plants" box, and send in that, along with a copy of both of your drivers licenses, and the caregivers attestation. The necessary forms can be downloaded at the michigan department of community health's website.http://www.michigan.gov/mdch/0,1607,7-132-27417_51869---,00.html Or check out the mmma website. http://www.michiganmedicalmarijuana.org

Good Luck!

Here yuh go buddy. I've educated myself well on this topic in Michigan so I can get this thing as soon I'm the proper age in a few months.

I would at least glance at some fine print legislation to see what you really can and can't do. That last link is the up to date form for Care-Givers and their Patients

And FYI. No matter what Michigan Legislation tells us we can do, any Marihuana/Marijuana conviction is still a federal offense and a registered felony that will fuck you over in any future career plans you have in this country. Kinda fucked up, but keep money in line, documented, and kinda clean if you get some profit to avoid IRS conficts.
