HOW DANGEROUS IS HARVEST TIME FOR US?

However unlikely you would find yourself arrested it does happen. There are many instances of police officers wishing citizens a good day after having seen proof of registration. They are not permitted to search once you have shown your card. No competent magistrate will sign a warrant given only the facts you describe.
Hmmm The case of Rory Larkey in Calhoun County is strikingly similar to the scenario Jonny is concerned with here. LEO stories based on the "smell of fresh marijuana" is becoming oddly common ...

Cops can't explain why they damaged your property illegally to gain access to your home if you refuse entry without a search warrant, however cops can explain exigent circumstances as to why they gained access to your unlocked and unsecured home and miraculously discovered something to charge you with. Make them kick the door down if they don't have a warrant, otherwise you're just letting the wolf in to baby sit the sheep.

If the cops misbehave at night, the judge and jury is always awake in the morning. Give them nothing and make them work for everything tooth and nail.

I just don't trust anybody including the people that work for me, so I doubt there's much advice I could be given, but I listen to any teacher that feels they have something valuable knowledge-wise they may have to offer. I'd be doing myself a disservice otherwise :)
