How could I store my harvested buds before drying?

Get a CVAULT system. It will store / cure the buds by itself. It uses the BOVEDA Packs and will keep at 62%. Just make sure that the buds are DRYED to no more than 65-69%.
At this stage the CVAULT will pull remaining RH and stabilize in zero darkness. I place these stainless steel containers in the bottom of a large cooler with a little water at bottom to keep outside temps from sweating the metal containers.

I have stored cut bud ( so far 2 months ) without problems. I open ( maybe ) once a week.
To check the aroma and overall appearance. The buds will be smokeable easily in a week and get much more fragrant and denser with more time. These containers are FOOLPROOF if you DRIED the buds before use. They come in multiple sizes and ship very quickly ( I got my set in 2 days ).

Well, the thing is that I will not have the time to dry my harvest to 69%, beside CVAULT does not ship to Chile, and actually I prefer a glass container than a metal one, you could put the BOVEDA in a glass air tight jar and envelope it in a light proof material or put it in a dark cave

The option to re-humidify your weed is not advised by many who consider curing an art. Again this is not a loss but rather you'll be trying to cure something that did not stay in that cure balance. When mmj is cured, the equilibrium in the humidity becomes stable. So rather than having this dried plant, you have a stable herb that is of a different color, no longer green. Rehumidifying it may bring your chances of mold back up.

Ixnay on the ex-ay partner.... Shes liable to throw that all in the garbage!!! Not a risk.
considering his only options rehumidifying is the only answer imho. curing IS an art and cant be implimented here

Ok. There are tons of curing advice here but you're still at a risk for mold leaving your stuff sealed in a jar. Boveda or not. It's the air circulation that you're missing the point to here. Curing involves the utmost attention for a bit. Keeping it dark, dry....that's not the biggest issue. Your bud rehydrates in a jar alone after drying. Consider fresh fudge. The fudge gets a little crusty on the sides if given enough time to dry that way but put it in a container that doesn't allow "breathing" you're back to square one and gone on your trip to come back to something moldy and then ammonia sets in.
The one thing that I see you doing is avoiding the advice not to seal it up in a jar. Your crop is fresh, two days of drying just does not seem ample enough to bring it in a safe zone while you're gone.

If you place anything in the jar to REHYDRATE - It should not have odors of its own or flavors. That orange peel , potato stuff can make some aful tasting smoke. Placing a small piece of flour tortilla can rehydrate weed. But be aware that rehydrated weed isn't as good as proper drying/curing. One method that is ANOTHER option is to VACUUM SEAL your buds . One kitchen unit can work with your harvest , by doing a simple harvest and drying , you can vacuum seal the loose buds in those bags. It will draw all of the air from the buds ( for storage ) til you return. There is NO OXYGEN for a mold to start. They can be stored in a dark , cool enviroment or light proof container.

There are also SPECIAL mason jar lids that will work with this type of system.

no, wont work wet and adding the packs...you will have mold definitly ..Id let it dry to a crisp(mostly bc you dont have a choice)..then the brovedas will bring it back to life. get the 62's
Once they reach a point of dryness, below 55% or so the curing/fermenting process stops for good. No amount of moisture will restart this process.

No, I am not avoiding the advice not to seal it up in a jar. I was only comparing the metal CVAULT with the glass jar in a normal situation, not mine. I really appreciate your advices all of you guys, they helped me a lot.
From what I see, the options that i have are:

*Start hang drying them before my trip in an environment that is at a balance point between drying as slow as possible and drying fast enough to avoid mold. The difficulty is to pre estimate how to get to this balance point. I mean if I were home, it is easy to watch daily where are they and change the setup if necessary. But being outside, I have to get my setup (exhaust fan timing, partial trimming or no trimming at all, spacing between branches, etc) where i think it will be ok without having the possibility to check and change the setup. Some could advice to drift to the fast drying side of the balance point in order to be at the safe side.

*The second option is to vacuum freeze the fresh harvesting in a plastic bag, but this is not optimal since the plastic material will attract some of the resin by statistical electricity and also the buds will shrink. These glass vacuum mason jar, I did not get it, could they really minimize air to the point of not worrying about mold? what about the buds, would they be ok with all this negative pressure in a container that does not change its volume? after vacuuming the mason jar, should I freeze it?

This why rehydrating is a substandard way. It's easier to " dial down " the moisture to your preferred Humidity level ( some like 55% - been trying to see if BOVEDA will do these ) or at least 62% . But every grower has there sweet spot for curing. Had some nice sticky icky buds at 67% - 69%.

Just put it in a cardboard box... Drying out weed doesn't ruin it...

Who cares if they "dry out to a crisp". That's some good, unruined, weed right there.
