Your calyxes will continue to swell, and all those white hairs will begin to change color and receed back into the bud when your getting close. Do youself a favor and get a 30-100x scope. When most of your hairs have turned orange/redish/brown you need to start checking the color of the trichs. They will be either clear, cloudy, or amber. Your looking for mostly cloudy with some amber. The earlier you harvest, or less amber you have, the more cerebral and clear headed the high will be. The later you harvest, or the more ameber you have, the heavier the stone will be. Take note of the ratio of clear, coudy, amber trichs when you harvest and use that as a reference for the strain. You might decide you might want to take it earlier or later next time you grow it.
