How can I make a stealth door?

I am working on a design for a box now, but I'm having a hard time thinking of a way to get a door.

I want it to the on the side, where I can put a big trash can to make sure that no one messes with it, but it'll stay empty so I can move it over whenever I need to get inside.

So how can I get a side of the box to open up without it looking like it does? It's supposed to just be the bottom of a dvd shelf, so I can't have door handles and such because I don't want anyone snooping around while I'm gone and thinking they may find...more dvds stashed in the bottom part.

I was thinking about hinges, but wouldn't that give area where the wood would be sticking out and make it obvious?

They make hinges that go on the inside of doors....so you wouldn be able to tell. You could aslo make/buy a magnet latch that you just push to open. Its kinda hard to explain...but my entertainment center has them. Like these....http://www.southco.com/class/02-magnetic-catch-latches-7398.html
