How big can a plant get in a 1 gallon pot?

I have 15 plants that I started from seed 39 days ago. I transplanted them into 1 gallon pots and moved them from under the cfl's into a 5 * 5 grow tent with 1000w 12 days ago. They are pretty healthy looking at about 12". I'd like to veg them longer but am not sure if they would get root bound in 1 gallon pots.

You'll probably need to go bigger in a month or so.

The general rule of thumb is 1 gallon per month of existence. So a month of veg and 2 months of flower would fit nicely into a 3 gallon pot. This is all dependent on plant growth rate as well.

ya no way your finishing healthy in 1 gallons. 3 gallon minimum no matter what your doing.

No point stunting it in a small pot if you don't have to.
