I am posting this for anyone that is curious about House and Garden. I love the nutes, and have been talking to their sales rep for the West Coast. I just thought I would drop this here so everyone with curiousities about the nutes could see what the reps themselves recommended. Their customer service has been excellent and I cant say enough how cool they have been. just for hitting them up via email they are sending me a free sample kit to test out the more expensive nutes that I will never buy. I would rather just buy weed than spend all that cash on nutes. so here you go, hope it helps anyone looking around for what they do and if they are necessary or not.

MY EMAIL TO HOUSE AND GARDEN :

Hello, I am using the COCOS A and B with Roots Exculerator. I supplement with Cal Mag and Silica Blast. I want to buy the remaining items in the line up. But I am a little unsure if I need all of the following items. I have not been using Aminos because they are too expensive. Please let me know if I can go without any of these nutes or if my grow will suffer without them

Bud XL – I am going to buy this for my flower stage, I switched to flower on 12/28 so I know I need to start it now
Aminos
Multi Zen
Top Booster
Top Shooter / Shooting Powder – I am going to buy one of these but don’t know which one would be best for COCO COIR
Algen Extract
Drip Clean – I run drain to waste so I was told I don’t need this if I am watering to 20 percent runoff.
Roots Exculerator – I use this now because I have a small amount gifted to me from a friend. I am using this with great results, my roots are exploding.

I am just trying to see what in the lineup is absolutely necessary

THEIR RESPONSE : REPS NAME LEFT OUT FOR OBVIOUS REASONS

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for reaching out to us and thanks for the support!

Good questions.

Every product in the H&G lineup has a role that gets you bigger and better harvests in weight and quality.

You will get a great harvest with just Coco A&B and Roots Excelurator, but it can be MUCH BETTER.

You can use Silica Blast instead of Amino Treatment to save money. That said, Amino Treatment has a much higher grade of silica in it (mono-silicic acid) and will give you better results.

You definitely want to use Multi Zen and Bud XL at full strength according to the feed chart.

Top Booster - you only use it for 1-2 feedings per sun so it will hardly cost you anything.

Nitrogen Boost - use it if you veg for more than 2 weeks

Drip Clean - you still want to use it even in drain-to-waste. It prevents any salt pockets building up in your coco.

Top Shooter / Shooting Powder - same product except one is a powder and one is a liquid. depends on your preference, but shooting powder ends up being less expensive.

Algen Extract - Conditions your coco - use minimally

Magic Green - Spray only 2x per run so cost is minimal

Rhizoforce - you only use once per run. it supplies mycorrhizae.
