Hottest Pepper In The World "Naga Jolokia" (Grown in Hydro)

I should be getting my seeds in the mail any day! Can't wait to grow these things and plant a few in the grocery store!
That's kinda funny but I hope you were joking because you could kill someone if they are not expecting it. I love hot peppers and spicey food. Heres a short story for ya. One day some friends invited me over for dinner, and they had this very hot pepper so a few drinks later and they asked me if I wanted to try a little piece I said sure. I then just ate the whole pepper in one bit. You sould have seen the look on there faces. They were asking my wife if I am OK.lol I was fine, It was pretty hot but nothing I can't handle as I have built a pretty good tolorence for spicy food.

I never did anything but put a seed from a Jalapeno pepper into rockwool and put the plant into the flowering room on 12/12. The plant is very lush and lots of chilis. Maybe i'll try and stress it if anybody can confirm this is necessary to make chilis hot? I don't do anything to pollinate - maybe the fan does it.
you know if you picked the seed from a store bought pepper it might have cross-polinated with a sweet pepper

i've heard that if your peppers get too much water during fruiting that it makes for a mild pepper they like to dry out

what do you do if your in hydro?! i wonder? i dont think i have to worry about the bhut jalokia being to mild though. well its been a week or so of pollinating flowers, with wet and dry paintbrush and i got a fan pointing at them still no fruit. upped the doses a bit added some strong PK.

they grow fast these are my babies i'd have to go back to the beginning of this thread to tell when i started them
your in soil? have you seen flowers yet? my flowers fell off it appears my plants are going into re-veg mode. i dont think my light is enough, or ventilation and temp. i will move these into nature soon so the summer can take care of em

So guys!

I bought a small Jalapeno plant, and a small New Mexican Chili plant..... I put them in fox farms ocean forest in clay pots outside... Watered with filtered water, root 66 (kelp addtve.) and some Thrive Alive.

I'm balancing my chili pepper water to like 6.4...... what are you guys going by for the optimum in soil? Let me know :) & +rep to you

Tomorrow, I get some more Fox Farms and plant 3 tomato plants. What can I say I love that fox farms.. I think they PUT SOMETHING in the soil so when you use it your addicted

I'm a little late into the race with the tomato plant but FUCK IT WHATEVER. :)

sorta double posting this but i thought it applied here too.

all my plants are in a 4'x8' greenhouse box made of a 2x frame and some 6mil poly

here are some peppers and some brussel sprouts, a spaghetti squash vine and a bit of my bhut jalokia in a bag.

a bhut jalokia in a bag and one in a planter behind it. they were in hydro but that didnt work out, so i moved them to soil and they are finally experiencing some new growth

tomato plants have outgrown my 3' height capacity, they are very floppy for some reason, will move them to a planter this weekend probably.

More pepper seedlings, tomato seedlings some cilantro and basil

my 2 remaining hydro peppers, had to move them outside because i needed my lighting to prepare another my precious crop. these guys are looking a bit rough they flowered and then dropped all their flowers. im hoping they flower again, i only succesfully created one clone, and it too is very weak, these plants are not nearly as robust as good ol mary jane. i will leave them outside all summer and hope that they come back, i have been feeding them with GH micro 15 ml and bloom 30ml, with a dash of kool bloom in 5 gallon.

Ill have to put up some pictures of my chilis... my jalapeno has one sizeable chili, and both have a bunchhhh of flowers just starting to develop at practically each node..

I just transplanted a single ghost pepper outside, after a few days in the new mulch it is beginning to yellow a bit. is this a N deficiency?

my jalapeno is a dark green with purple stems  I'm thinking it's just genetics though the other pepper plant looks cool.

some of my ghost peppers leaves are coming out sorta wrinkled and they sorta cup upwards, any ideas as to what the problem could be? my plants in hydro were more or aless a big failure. the plants i have in soil were stunted but now they are growing again, and im starting to see flower buds again.
