Hot and dry

I live Hawaii, 2800 ft elevation, it is windy hot and dry. Having trouble giving the girls enough water to survive. I use the crystles but they dry out fast. Looking for some tricks.

try using a drip system by using a 5 gallon bucket filled up with a tube of some sort coming out the bottom then rig it with a steady drip. IMO it works wonders its fairly easy too.

hey brudda. oahu here.what stoner817 is a go. lots of people use a drip system for gurrella grows. you on the Big Island? we had rain last night here. i also use crystels and maybe you not using enought. you might want to check out the Hawaii Growers thread. choke helpful people that have the answers for our problems here in Hawaii nei.we can all use help now and them. generally, this is the best site. everybody wants to help. good luck my dear, aunty.

have you added a 6 inch layer of mulch around the base of the plant? you need something inbetween the soil surface and the dry wind, which is sucking the moisture from the ground.
