boiling my tea as we speak...applying it tomorrow. this stuff is awesome!

nugs - do you know how the horsetail kills PM? is it the silica strengthening the leaf? does it change the leaf surface pH? curious as to the mechanism of action here...

i ordered a kg it should be hear monday. also growing cilantro to give that a try as well. it even says on the seed pack from pvfs that cilantro is a fungicide. not to mention cc recommends it! sprayed once with nettles and seemed to do a pretty good job. should have done a follow up spray though gonna try some side by side..

lol that shit looks madddd sketchy...look at how many states its not allowed in! i definitely wouldn't want to smoke anything sprayed with that...horsetail seems way safer LOL.

pg 3 of my journal. i stop spraying midway through stretch. its a copy of what pvfs used to sell. tomhill over @ic uses it. i consider him right up there with cc as far as teachers go. the liquid was blowing up in transit so they stopped selling it but they provide the ingredient list and percentages. i have to manage a really large canopy so i use ag products. that meet nop and omri..

I believe you can store it for up to a month. But I don't keep mine past 2.5 weeks, i'll just brew up another.

Would it be okay to just put the horsetail in a 5 gallon bucket, fill with water, and let soak a couple weeks? Would it be just as good?

You want to brew it like tea. If u wanna make 5 gal worth, take 5 oz of HT powder and 5 quarts of water. Let soak over night. Boil slightly for 20 min and then fill up 5 quart mason jars with the concentrated mixture. Each one of these jars will make 1 gal of usuable spray. Just pour off into a 1 gal container and fill with water and add some soap.

according to this it may be from the abundance of sulfur......(MSM) and (DSM)......
Interesting. Makes sense though, I have always applied powdered sulfur with a duster (from the feed store) for powdery mildew. Very cheap, deters bugs, helps keep my soil slightly acidic, and it's vital to the plants carbon and nitrogen metabolic systems.

If you have problem with PM check up a product called "DYNA-MITE", I personally tested it for 6 runs and you can literally see the PM disappear in front of your eyes. Totally organic, you can spray days before harvest, as a preventative it is amazing. You can treat one plant in a middle of an infestation and not only the PM is gone on that plant but will not come back even when the others plants are full of it. Totally trippy product. Works also on mites, white flies, aphids. Cleanser and protectant. 100% organic.

I have been spraying my plants with this horsetail tea for about 2 weeks every 2 days and my plants are still worse now then they were 2 weeks ago.

I did exactly what this thread said to. 1 ounce makes a gallon. 20 drops liquid dishsoap.
I drench my plants in it.

ITS NOT WORKING :(
