Grapefruit Kush Feminized - 5 Seeds

Ordered early Feb. Received 9 days later.

2 Soaked for 24 and sowed in cups. Both popped on day 4 so very fresh. Still waiting on the MOC NL to surface.

So far so good and will post the grow if there is interest.

Nice to see something from HGS again. Things got real shaky over the past year or two, but I have grown HGS in the past and actually have 3 from HGS in veg right now from the purchase I made about 5 years ago. I have liked everything I have grown from there.

Oh the Grapefruit Kush is doing well. Will get some new pics up soon. Veg is after all a tad boring and slow....

Time will tell but I have had good communication, prompt service and the pricing is probably some of the best. I scoured the boards and heard that he was sick plus his other half passed so that tends to make things less smooth for anyone. The InterWeb sure does let the D-Baggery shine but I chose to ignore it.

Quite sure I will be pleased if the history of HGS holds true.

nice. I have ordered from High-Grade seeds several times over the past 6 years or so. Quick, discreet turn. Great genetics. Healthy, hearty, dank plants. For Score.

Great news about high grade being back, ive grown out a few of their strains and they were straight fire! My favourite was their big blue, awesome flavour and such a narcotic stone, I'd happily grow it agian. They have an oaxaca cross as well that im keen on too!

Little over a month in and the grapefruit kush is doing well along with its friends. Seems to be 2 different Phenos in the 2 I popped. Both have the same basic shape so far but one is more sativa leafed and the other is a classic Indy.

Have had to hold them back a bit as I am waiting on delivery of my new Econoloux Induction ELPL test light. The Black on Black freebie has been cut back several times but we are looking good for 12/12 in about 3-4 weeks.

Enjoy

Day 12 of Flower.

The 2 on the left are the Grapefruit Haze. Front Right is a MOC Northern Lights. Rear Right is a Mandela strain (unknown Freebie). Sure is WAY to tall for my garden but uniform at least.

The GFK has a slight pheno difference. One is a bit more Sativa which I saw during veg and more leggy. They both are roughly the same size with the sativa being a bit more wide and longer internodes.
Will have to see how they bud out. The Mandela is ahead of the pack but the others are not far behind. I expect to see some more stretch out of the shorter plants while the Mandela should be at its limit (I hope as my room is short).

The last 2 pics are my veg room which is a breeding room for now. Making feminized crosses using tierras mist. Cloning is not for me.

Well you can always give it a shot. Keep in mind he was sick and suffered other personal tragedies from what I read. I took a chance and like what I got so far. Genetics are playing out as advertised.

His prices are the best I could find and well if you can't risk $40 then you should consider another hobby.
Largest ball of tin foil, collecting things you find in the street, poking the homelss with sticks, FaceTwitAgram maybe ... all low cost fun.

YMMV,
