Highest Yielding TGA Strain, Next To The Querkle?

how comparable is the Deep Purple to the Querkle? wanted Querkle for its yield. something i usually dont worry about. but id like to try something new, since my buddy challenged me. i wanted the Querkle, but as my luck is right when i made the deposit, they sold out. DOH! so im looking for an indica dominant high yielding TGA strain. thanks in advance for the input. the research i have done has led me to the Jilly Bean. but i wanted to know, since i have only read about the TGA line. never grown any out.

Just for reference, here's some Jilly Bean grown in Water Farm scrog.....2 plants, mother & clone, with clone about three weeks behind mother....shown at beginning of week 7

Querkle isnt a really high yielding strain, the herb is definitely worth growing though. TGA strains really arent all about the yield, you can get good yields you just need to know how to get it. But as far as it being a real heavy yielder like some AK47 or whatever commercial strain, not what your looking for. If you want some dank......grow some querkle.

Edit: about getting those heavy yields.......look 1 post up...thats one way of doing it..looking nice by the way that jilly is, are you running C02 or is that just what hydro guys are pulling down these days for an average, LOL?

Agent orange! Killer flavor, great yielder, more of a balanced high though so not exactly indica dom..

Ace of spades. indica dom and a heavy yeilder.

Don't get Querkle for it's yield My friend grew it a couple times and only got about an ounce a plant. I'm growing an indica dominant PlushBerry but I like it more for it's uniqueness than it's yield which is average.

If you want weight go for these heavy producers...Good luck.

"If" all goes well (meaning I pay attention), that's what my Water Farms produce (1 or 2 WF's, under scrog, strain dependent), 4' x 4' enclosure, 600 watts, GH nutes, No C02 used.......
What really matters is genetics, and TGA is inspiring me.....Really resonate with Subcool's philosophy, lot's to learn from that guy & his associates..........

Outdoors or indoors?

As for the person who said it is a low yeilder, I cant say from experience yet. I can say its a slow slow slow vegging plant, but once it gets rooted it speeds up a bit, still slower than most.
Id say the problem with your yeild is low veg time....

currently I have 2 out of my 20 flowering plants that are querkle, under 1250 watts in a 5x5 with co2 (regulated, but not monitored, I just throw a good amt in there until I can afford a monitor).
All Ill really be able to do is compare it to my other strains. My other strains range from an oz a plant to 2 maybe 2.5 oz a plant, but there pretty crammed in there

Indoors obviously if it was outdoors it would be 6 pounds,
Decent yield indoors using my methods is 6-10 ounces 4 per lamp

I would get 6 zips easily off plushberry, AOS was close to that.

heres one of my querkle I doubt ill get 6 oz. be happy with 2 on each plant. thatd put me at almost a gram a watt. The bud shots are my best strain, special queen, im hoping querkle takes that title.

There are two kinds of weed. Yield over quality and quality over yield. TGA Subcool gear is top shelf for people who want Quality first mainly cause they smoke it themselves.

The yeilds have been great for me, but i'd grow his gear if the yields sucked, thats how good it is. I am lucky I'm not someone who has to sell pot, so I get to smoke it all myself. I feel bad for people who don't grow TGA Subcool gear and have to part with it for money. My Flav yielded like crazy last summer.

so, i lost my last post. but would it be safe to say that the INDICA dom high yielders in the TGA family are the following:

Plushberry
Ace OF Spades
Querkle
Jilly Bean
Deep Purple

is there any other INDICA dom strains in the TGA library that are decent yeilders? im not looking for 10oz per plant. like i have mentioned, for the people who cant read past the last post, without sacrificing quality. 4-6 oz per plant is nothing i would complain about. i am basically looking for something that is an Indica Dom that i can get at least 4 oz off each plant. am i in the right direction? i figure 9-12 plants under 1000w in a 4x4 should be a lil over 1g/watt. and thats all im after, really. and some good quality nugs!

I think 9 to 12 plants in a 4 x 4 enclosure is way to many, in soil or otherwise., unless you are staggering them as to maturity.....ie: 4 plants close to harvest + 4 plants 4 or more weeks behind + 4 new to flower plants .....That might do it....but this is very labor intensive.....
Crowding plants like that leads to less quality and less yield and real susceptibility to disease and bugs.
Plants like room to breathe, Sub said 4 plants to a light and he easily pulls 6 oz/per plant....That sounds real good to me.
I would focus on learning the strain, what it needs as to nutrients (how much Super Soil + base mix), what diseases you need to watch for, does it need additional nutes in flowering or less? etc.
As others have stated here, it's the quality not the quantity, that we're after.....It will take most people I know, more than one grow of the same strain, to learn it's idiosyncrasies and get the most out of their grow.
My Jilly was 1st grown in soil, and based on my results, I saw it might do well in hydro....and it does, not all strains do (at least for me)
And my next grow of it, will be an improvement over this one.....As I learn how to dial in the strain.....
In my book, less is more (in both plant numbers & nutes), and my Jilly and others before, attest to this.
