Hi, Could you answer a couple of questions. My small grow is 6 months old. Just switched to 12/12. Have only been on cfls. But, I have some nice Red LEDs and a 300 watt Galaxyhydro 9-band fixture. Should I add either of them?

Last grow I put the galaxy too close, accidentally throwing them into seeding.

The flowers seemed to do well when I pointed the red LEDs 2" from them. Advanced Thanks.

Yes, I think it shocked them. Before I put the galaxy on I had the red LEDs right on the flowers. Things went to crap when I added the 9 band. That was after waiting 5 months.
Bonjour
One more mars mystery!!!!
Was it a mars male?
So you get some Chinese seeds?...if it grow like the the panel you will need 4/5 months vegg minimum...lol!

They were really old seeds, grew into beautiful chicks. Wasn't the best environment so probably why took extra long to veg. It was super fun watching them mature. Both chicks went to seed. I'm 99.999% sure they were not polinated.

So, I'd like to add some red light but can't get a mother f______ straight/good answer. It's like pulling teeth.

ps. I don't know what a Mars seed or panel is?

thanks for your response :)

Not a blurple fan but doubtful that the light itself, bands etc. this sounds like timer settings bumped or losing their mind. Some cords, fans and power strips have little lights that stay on and some strips allow a little pass-thu or whatever and the light's diodes are sensitive enough to glow. That's how it was explained to me. I blackout all rocker switches and indicator lights I can.

Hop inside with lights off and see if a anything glows, and if any light leaks exist. Really think there are troubles here beyond the light which will grow stuff while it is still functioning.

Merciful bien,

Polleninated: when a male plant fertilizes a female and stop flowering. :wall:

"Mars" got it. I'm not going to turn it on, too risky. A "Heater" LOL, that it is.

I think I'll change half of my CFLs to Red LED's. Or add them to the mix, if there's room.

:peace:

Will check for rogue lights. I did have a couple lighting blunders if i remember correctly. I also had (probably wrong) 6/18 light schedule. Thanks for the tip!

Did you really only give them 6 hours of light and 18 of dark? NO WONDER they took 6 months to grow man! It's 18 hours of LIGHT & 6 hours of DARK! :/

My last try i veg. between 24 on and also 20/4. When I flowered them it was 18 hours dark, 6 hours light. This time I was more consistent with 18/6 veg. and now 13 off / 11 on. How long do they flower?
