Can you recommend a good ins/bond company?

I used to use allred on st johns.
They had decent rates but it was many years ago

I don't even remember the company I had mine through. I had a general contractors license here in Seattle so had to have higher insurance than a single trade (I did sheetrock and painting company was called sheetrock n rollers lol). The shitty part of it was filing quarterly excise taxes with the city ffs even if you didn't do any jobs you still have to fill out a blank form and submit it or get threatening letters. The insurance broker also found the bond so I did both through the same place.
