Hericules from sannies

This is my first grow just looking to do a few plants at a time with good yields and can put up with my beginner mistakes. Y'all think this is a good strain to start with? Anyone ever grown it before? Also does anyone have a second option? I'll be using a single 400w Mh/hps. -laxx

I'm subbed bro! I can say you shouldn't start your seedling on a high light out put such as Mh/Hps lights it would for sure kill your seedlings. Try one or two cfls and after a couple days you could put up a Mh bulb but make sure its not to close until your plant has vegged for a good amount of time like 12 days. Also Don't over water your plant check every three days by placing your finger on the soil if dry or barley moist rewater. What type of soil are you using?

Never grown hericules, but it will probably be OK.

Two things to watch out for in any "high yielding" strain are high smell output, and also that high bud density may tend to promote bud rot.

Do NOT overwater, and make sure to keep your grow area well ventilated with humidity under control.

If you're asking for suggestions for a beginner, I'd say in general indica-dominant strains are the best choice. The shorter flowering time gives you less time to make errors, and faster feedback, and the overall shorter height makes these plants easier to control until you get some experience training.

From Sannie's lineup, "indica mix" is probably a nice pack for a beginner, since you'll have three potent, different, and relatively easy to grow strains. The jackberry, in particular finishes up pretty fast.

On seedlings, its perfectly fine to put even young sprouts under MH or HPS lighting. . .so long as you keep them well AWAY from the bulbs.

Now, that said, from a heat/energy efficiency standpoint it simply doesn't make sense to run a full 400W HPS lamp just for a few seedlings. You'll do just as well, plus save energy and effort, putting them under a small fluorescent light, even a desklamp with CFL lights.

Indica's tend to be less sensitive to nutrients too in my experience. Sannie has some great options. Anything with 'The One' in it seems more finicky from what I've seen. Just for your info. I found his Herijuana quite easy to grow. I haven't grown Shack and I am not sure off hand the genetic combination.

I think it's probably a pretty good selection.

FWIW, herijuana is out of stock right now, but anesthesia is a herijuana x (afghan-skunk) hybrid, and its probably just as easy to grow, if not easier, plus one of the consitutents of the "indica pack".

I think you'd probably have a hard time messing that one up.

Sannie has substituted his "KO Kush" for herijuana in this indica pack. That one is better tasting than herijuana, and possibly even more potent, though yield is a little less.

I just finished a grow of hercules and started another, both feminized.
It stretches like crazy so do not veg too long.
Very low odor, big colas, but I had to let it go for almost twelve weeks.
Worth it in the end though.

All of Sannie's gear is good. Haven't grown the Herc but have done others including Kolossus which is a great yielder and Stoney to the boney. With most of Sannie's beans they will stretch a bit. Just grow them in good soil, give them the correct light and airflow. They will reward you. You really can't go wrong with anything he puts out. If you can get MadShack beans get them. They were a freebie, might be out. It's Jack/White Widow/Heri. It's super easy to grow and kicks you in the balls. Smells of catpiss and citrus. Kolossus is amazing and the best all around weed IMHO. I'm really stoked on the Sugar Punch right now. It's like an iron hand in a velvet glove. We've been calling it The Space Elevator. It's trippy. It's on the sativa side though so you are looking at 12 weeks...worth it. Of course there is Killingfields. It's a long runner but you will be treated to deep purple and smells of grape candy, coffee and pickles. Good luck with your grow.

Any of his gear is superb. Prolly a really good strain to start with in his lineup would of been Anesthesia.

Yeah, I always drop a grape candy and a sour pickle into my morning cup of coffee. I find it really helps with the "pick me up"! ;-)

OK, seriously, while Killing fields is actually an excellent line its own right, my understanding is its particularly stretchy, and in my opinion, that would make it somewhat unsuitable for an inexperienced grower.

Hericules is Herijuana x Shack, hence my comments. It might be more finicky if it's on the Jack side (which I assume Shack has in it).

You got the right strain! I have grown this one out many times and I'm going to again soon! This strain is a great producer and it puts out some really good smoke! It's a winner one of the best strains I have grown! Not to mention Sannie is a fucking amazing breeder! All His seeds that I have grown out have been awesome! The only one I didn't like was the pheno of his Killing Fields that I got. But I am sure it was just that one pheno. I have germed over 15 different beans of his and I have been happy every time!

If you start fucking around with other no name breeders or even some of the "good" breeders on the Tude you will run into problems with fem beans. Sannies is a great place to start, then when you branch out and try other breeders you will come right back to sannies!

Not questioning you at all bro but that wasn't my experiance growing them out. Herk is a short girl, and she always finished up round 7.5 weeds for me. Give or take a few days depending on tric's. But I harvest at 90% milkey. You may have gotten a Sativa dom pheno.

To the OP as you can see nobody has a bad thing to say about Sannies! Or Herk for that matter!

KF is easy to grow. The only down side is the stretch and the long maturation. Nothing a first time grower couldn't handle. It's not nute sensitive and is quite vigorous.

I have found, and have others, that KF is a bit nitrogen sensitive in flower. It's not horrible though and easy enough to keep an eye on.

ive got a madshack one month in flower, and a new single hercules in a one gallon. i have beans "extreama", and herojuana x heribei. i also have one bean of madshack left. it might be worth some money! i was told by sannie, that it will not be re-made.

From what I have gathered since receiving my hericules seeds it sounds like he got the shack pheno and you got the heri or more herer pheno.

I'll probably roll the dice with a 3 week veg and hope for the best. I working with a dr90 so I'll be ready to bend'em over if I get the shack pheno. I hate to say it but I need the gorilla tent b/c of the increased head room. That way I can do a 4 week veg and really rock and roll no matter what pheno I end up with.

Sannies is amazing, my order got sent back for some reason and he added an extra freebie and sent it back. It took 2 months which may sound a long time for most people but that is going from europe to the states to europe back to the states. (He also contacted me to make sure the address was correct before sending it out for the 2nd attempt). 2 beans out of 30 didn't sprout but the ones that did are thriving. These seeds are quallity the vigor on the seedlings has me kickin back rather then trying to find out what it needs. :D

YOU WILL NOT REGRET ORDERING FROM SANNIES <3
