Exactly.. that's why you can't walk into Walmart and buy a handgun idiots shooting people. Same is true with cannabis, and if people were trying to legalize handguns so you didn't need a permit, it would be the same argument that will never win. Why? Well the people that you are fighting for, are the ones that are breaking the laws.

Youre comparing apples to oranges here. Both are fruit, but yet differ greatly in their content.
Both items are regulated individually because of their own percieved dangers. With handguns, they have the potential to kill. Marijuana, not so much. So hanguns NEED to be regulated, Marijuana doesn't.
I understand your argument r1tony. Being an undying idealist, I have to embrace the fact that we need to keep the fight alive. I agree with you that it will be a long and arduous battle, but in the end, smoking your own herb without fear of persecution is worth it, dont you think? Should we abandon all ideas because of people who abuse the system?
