They take all his assets, grow op/meds, boat, snowmobiles, etc. haul it away in a city dump truck, have the local newspaper in 30mins after showing up for a photo op, don't charge him for nearly 2 years. He wanted the return of his property or charge him. After he 3 refusals to settle then they charge him and only him. The prosecutor said part of the lengthy wait was do to them waiting for clarification of the law. The now ex-police chief anderson only started missing his old shift after a federal law suit was filed on Jeffs behalf and resigned his position. His wife, whom he took a buy out from ford to care for, passed away 4 months after the raid due to the lack of meds and a stress related aneurysm. This is a city that copied the so popular federal law ordinance just shortly after this debacle. I've heard many different reports on the number, no one seems to know or have bothered to count. The reports are things like, "about" "or so", you know just ball park it. I'm guessing if it goes to trial they're going to cling to this over count accusation and as far as I can tell the only possible argument they have. So we are likely to see some litigation about whats a usable plant and or whats a reasonable amount. I hope they toss it before it goes to trial, we'll see. Little birdie told me the judge is going to allow him to continue use of his medical marijuana. Can't be a bad indicator , right?

Sucks man but someone tipped em off that he is not following the law or something. I mean I am a registered patient I follow the laws, I grow for myself and one important rule everyone should follow... is that I treat it like I am growing it without a card. I mean I don't go telling everyone, trying to unload my extra on non-cardholders etc.. which usually gets you busted or harassed.

Yeah, I don't know either whats up with the plants. I've heard reported differently over 20 some months of reporting. The court report looks like 85 and they were calling it 25 starter plants, 26 small plants and 34 marijuana plants. Why did it take so long to figure the guy was over and charge him. Did it take that long to count the plants? There was a bolt action hunting rifle owned by another occupant of the house in an up stairs bedroom closet. The grow op was in the basement. I fail to see the connection, but I'm not an atty. All I can say is section 8 will be litigated heavily here.

Added it up real quick. Looks like what was going on is homeboy had 34 in flower, 26 in veg, and where the big debate is going to be the 25 "starters". So my guess in he counted 60.
