Hennepdesk?

SO who knows what happened to hennepdesk and what was I missing? I caught some flicks on youtube and need to read more into the beautiful work they practiced. I am really interesting in throwing a mapito grow for a friend but I understand very little about it's concept and how high to saturate the flood floor and so forth. Does anyone have any stuff lying around from them in terms of information to pass on. Please and thanks for any consideration and help on any matter. I have been a member here for some time now, being it that I used to grow, but it is now a friend of mine who needs our help.

Correct but they were also around at the end of 2014 posting also to recruit people to their forums. On my search I found a lot of empty domains and other forums mentioning how amazing the HD forums were before they were closed down for whatever reason. So there is truth to your statement though there is also information supporting that it was a most recent loss to the communities and someone has to remember or know in their own right about flood flooring with mapito

I had a hard time understanding what you meant in the first of those last two comments. If you meant "what is the use of flooding a grow room floor?" well there is a vid of HD's with a flooding floor technique that grew some crazy bananas man!!! This video does not show the flooding floor but that is what is being used in the room if you follow the youtube videos. I just dont understand how flooding the floor 1.5 -2 inches every (i dont even know) so often. I think in one video i got that they flood 2-3 times per week. my thoughts are on flushing and do they need to remove salts or anything. if the pots are over a foot tall and you flood them 2 inches, not a lot of the mapito would get saturated? and if it did, as the nute mix was sponged up higher into the mapito would that part not dry out leaving crystalized and salted nutes behind? see i just need someone experienced on the format.

I think the floor flooding is a miscommunication. The containers are bottom fed (flooded) up to a level 25% of the container height. This is done every three days. Some very enthusiastic HD people are over at opengrow.com.

Growpito.com has instructions on their site. I was going to use Smart Pots but the folks at opengrow think small totes (5 gallon) are the way to go.
