might consider ph fluctuation as well, i personally believe foil does absolutely nothing so i dont see how it would damage plants

you have a nutrient defficency though its too early and too poor of a pic for me to tell for sure which one. the old growth will stay that way but when you fix the nutes the new growth will come as normal.

i would have to say if it happened after a water change your looking at a ph fluctuation problem, only other option imo is mag def. but if your not using RO water this is unlikely. that is not what nute burn looks like.

This happened a day after changing the water and just using two extra cfl lights. maybe to much water?
you need to give specifics, this isn't a guessing game. What is the ph, ppm's of your water, what temp, what nutes and in what amounts. What system are you using flood and drain, dwc...

its an aerogarden, so lets all assume its the aerogarden tablets for nutes and sink water with unknown temp, ph, humidity, ppm etc...

hes fucked and it could be anything in other words. Not to mention aerogardens factory set up are notorious for not having enough dissolved oxygen without alteration...
Or so Ive been told by everyone Ive known to buy one and regret it soon after (which was all)

So i'm using the aerogarden tabs and i put one in i was gonna start changing the res and put a new tab every week should i go back to the 2 tabs every two weeks? and should i still change the water or just add on to whatever is left in the res? any special water to use?

bottled water might help, changing the rez every week will help, maybe investing in real nutes could help, like gh floranova grow is very simple to use, just add amount/water and it will lower the ph on its own. how do the roots look? are the brown and slimy?

No not at all. But do you happen to think this happened cause i started out using 2 tabs and made the transition to 1 tab ? that shit happened to my leaves a day after changing the water completely and doing just one tab.

it could, like i said it looked like a ph fluctuation issue, i have no knowledge about the tabs but it is entirely possible that they fuck with the ph as many nutes do. it doesnt look like nute burn to me.

ebay has milwaukee ph600 meters for like 20 bucks, its a sound investment when dealing with hydro, you may consider getting one of these

that is either caused by nute burn or heat stress.. if you are using cfls I'de and it occured just after you started feeding the seedlings, I would say that the feeding was too extreme.. try diluting the nutes in more distilled water and only using 1/4 the suggested dose.. that plant is still pretty young.. you have to be really careful with nutes in the early stages.. good luck
