Hey dude, assuming your soil was adequate you should use the exact same type of soil that they're in now. Start with one plant, gently take it out of the solo cup and see if the dirt around the roots stays together - if so your plants are ready to transplant into larger (1-3gal) pots. Try not to disrupt the roots.

I spose the question to ask here is, what kind of soil are you using now?

PS - no nutes till flowering and I suggest light water before transplant to keep the topsoil a little more together, less mess.

You should begin your nutes about the third or fourth growth week dont wait until flower!!!!

Really just buy the best soil you can afford. Most people hate on MG but I use it and it's worked great. If your really worried just stay away from anything that has added nutes, you can just pick up the cheapest regular soil for like $3 a bag.

wait until flower to start nutes. are you kidding me? thats like giving a baby plain water with no powdered formula in it until she gets a yr old. come on man . foxfarm and general hydroponics wouldnt make GROW nutes for no reason . im using mg with peri mix right now . just wondering if theres a dedicated or preferred soil for transplanting for the final stages of veg .
