Help with lighting for 60x60x80 grow tent?

Starting my second grow and looking to try hps light. How many fixtures would I need 2 or would I be good with one? And what watts should I go with? 2 600 watts or just one 600 air cooled fixture?

I have the same size tent with 1 600w. That said I'm looking to add another 600w so I can get proper lighting to all plants that fit in that sized tent.

ghost013 if u don't mind me asking what's brand hps do u use or what's a good 600w hps setup to buy?

I use lumatek as it goes well with my lumatek dimmable ballast. Honestly I'm sure there are better hps bulbs out there but mine does a great job.

ETA- I thought you asked bulb vs set up but my answer still works lol.

Thanks ghost013 for the help. Lumatek is a little out of my price range now but I do plan on upgrading to them when I have the money for now I'm gonna go for something little cheaper. What do u guys think about ipower 600w hps lights or Apollo 600 hps lights? Is one brand better then the other?

To the tent growers using a 600 - before you add a 2nd 600 might I suggest using 2 400-watters instead? Heat being a huge issue. Just wondering.

I run 1000w in my tent that size. I did 2x600 before also. The Jury is still out on which style is the best for me.

I also have a 1000 in my 5x5 tent. Works well for me.
