Hello,
This is my first post...i recently did 2 runs of wax. The first run was about 1LB of shake, trim, and popcorn nugs. I recently found out that it was frozen and left to thaw for 2 days.
The second run was 1/2 LB of nug that was preserved at room temperature in a turkey bag.
During both blasting sessions, which were both into pyrex dishes floating in warm water, the wax developed what appeared to be ice crystals in the wax itself not on the pyrex, they began to disappear as the wax became viscous.
My question is how do i get what i believe to be excess water/moisture out of my finished wax? Currently both runs are sitting in their pyrex dishes on a griddle at about 125-130 degrees fahrenheit. Is there anything i can do to it to extract the moisture so it will crumble? I have whipped to the point where there are no bubbles, the wax smells like the shake and nug but it seems to be moist on top.
I used the same method i always do, but this the first time i have seen ice crystals and this the first time it hasn't crumbled.
Any tips are greatly appreciated.
