!!!HELP!!! Water inside my air cooled hoods....+ REP FOR HELP

So i just sealed the room and switched to co2. air is coming directly from outside. i go out there this morning look at my hood and there is water in it. I know it is condensed water because there is no other way for water to get in. How do i stop this?

You need a dehumidifier it's because of the moisture the plant produces

i dont see how that would help the water is on the inside of the air cooled hoods and it intakes from outside and exhausts outside... unless i put a dehumidifier outside

its gotta be a temp thing and have to do witch when the fan comes on.

have you tried sealing the hood with foil tape?

intake air is too cold

one would think you would want it cold to keep your light cooled.... right?

Are you running it 24/7 ?

oh yea and after the lights warm up there is not any water this is just a problem in the morning when the lights come on

yes colder will cool a bit better.. but will also cause condensation. You need to warm up the intake air and/or reduce the humidity in the room. As long as the intake is cooler then the lights, it will cool (yes cooler is a bit better). You probably don't need much warmer... at most the room temp, and really a bit below.
It stops once the light warm up, 'cause it warms the intake air up enough to stop it.

Well if you have your fan on 24/7 match it to the light, but I'm sure your not running it 24/7 so maybe try a dehumidifying product in a baffle box between your outside air and Grow-Room, here's a quick Idea (don't make fun of me for making a little picture I know I'm lame lol.

The easiest solution is to keep the fan on 24/7. It doesn't cost that much more per day to keep it on, as cent fans are fairly energy efficient.

That makes sense too I was thinking the fan being on would bring in moisture but if there is nothing to stop air from coming in while the fan is off then having it on probably would be better.

what do you guys think about having the fan come on 15 min. after the lights? So the hoods would be hot when the cool air came in.

idk... sounds like a good idea, maybe less then 15min... just enough to get them warm

yea the fan is mounted on my garage celling and my room is right above it and it LOUD

LOL, ok! That would certainly affect the decision. In that case, a delayed start of the fan should eliminate that problem. As to the exact delay, you'd have to test it out. Let us know!

Is your outake hooked up to dryer vent ,that just happened to me i spliced into the dryer vent and when dryer was on it was blowng moisture back
