Help w Slowing Growth Rates

Hey riu,

I stuffed up the timing on my first back to back grows and now my vege girls are 70 days in with 20 days to go till the flower room is free and they are huge!

I cant switch to 12/12 in the current room as my next batch is growing out atm as well.

Im starting to worry they will get too tall for my flower room once i have it free.

I know it sounds strange but is there any way to slow growth without damaging the plant or bud production once it goes to flower?

Grow system is a tdw into 100% perlight, 4 15min waters per day, under 2x250w mh and 2x125w cfl running duchfest at an ec of 1.8 no additives.

They will be supercropped and scrogged pre flower to control height, im looking at literally slowing growth rates for 20 days.

Thanks in advance all

Hey man the only way I could think of is maybe do some topping that will slow growth down a bit and will give you some nice colas?
Good luck bro

just remove some of the large fan leaves. if you decrease photosynthetic rates, growth will slow, and over time, smaller leaves will grow larger and since you have 20 days to recover... seems like a reasonable thing to do. also as tomzy suggested, you can top them as well. i learned about taking off leaves to slow growth from Vader at Ocean Grown Seed Co. check out his videos on youtube, he does it all the time.

I think ill go and trim back all the lower fan leaves in a few days. I just took 12 clones yesterday to try and slow it a bit so dont want to over do it all in one hit. Im concerned about topping them again as they are a heavy yeilding strain. Will try and get some pics to post but honestly i cant get far enough away from them to see anything but a wall of green!
